It is reported that the vehicle within the scope of this recall due to improper management of the manufacturing mold of the engine radiator cover, resulting in the height of the outer side of the radiator cover claw buckle exceeding the specified upper limit. As a result, the seal of the radiator cover when installed to the neck of the coolant filling port is insufficient, and the high temperature coolant may flow out of the radiator cover or spray out, causing the driver to burn, and there is a safety hazard.
Honda Jiyan Industry (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will check the manufacturing batch number of the radiator cover for the vehicles within the scope of the recall, and if the batch number is within the scope of the recall, it will replace the qualified radiator cover free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard, and will entrust the authorized dealer to notify the relevant users in the form of registered letter, telephone, etc.
