At the ongoing Tokyo Tuning Show 2022, the Subaru STI E-RA concept car was officially unveiled, which Subaru officially refers to as a high-performance sports car in the carbon-neutral era, and this concept car is also the second pure electric model after subaru SOLTERRA.

Powered by four motors, distributed on four wheels, the car is expected to have a total power of 800 kW (1,088 hp) and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 60 kWh. Subaru plans to use a production version of the STI E-RA concept to challenge the Nürburgring's 6 minutes and 40 second lap record.
