These two works are from the Zhengzhou Song and Dance Theater, a young theater group founded in 2004, but love the history and culture of the Central Plains, and have successively launched "Shaolin in the Wind" with the beauty of Gang, "Water Moon Luoshen" with Yue Fei as the protagonist, and "Jingzhong Baoguo" with Yue Fei as the protagonist.
In "Water Moon Luoshen", with "Luoshen Endowment" as the core, Cao Zhi's "Seven Steps Poem", "Beauty Chapter", "Duckweed Chapter", Cao Pi's "Furong Pond", Zhen Mi's "Tang Shangxing" and other famous passages have been integrated into the dance. The same "little sisters" in "Tang Palace Night Banquet" are even more singing and dancing, and in "Water Moon Roselle", they restore the beautiful posture of "flying like a frightening, graceful dragon". In order to interpret Cao Zhi's "Seven-Step Poem" with good words and blood tears and thunderous sentences, the actors imitated the tone, movements and eyes of the old drama bones by watching TV series.
Since its premiere, "Water Moon Roselle" has won a number of awards, including the Chinese dance "Lotus Award" dance drama, the gold medal for dance poetry works, the "Five Ones Project" Excellent Work Award, and the Wenhua Award for Outstanding Repertoire Award.
