This story first came from the Tang Dynasty Xue Yong weak's "Ji Yi Ji", which did not mention the title of princess. There is a similar story in the "Biography of Tang Caizi" of Xin Wenfang in the Yuan Dynasty, and it is only said that it is the "Ninth Princess". Later generations often think of her as the once-powerful Princess Taiping, who was the younger daughter of Emperor Gaozong and Wu Zetian of Tang, the sister of Emperor Zhongzong and Emperor Ruizong, and the aunt of Emperor Xuanzong and King Qi.
To tell the truth, this possibility is very small, Princess Taiping was killed by Tang Xuanzong because of the plot in 713 AD, when Wang Wei was only between the ages of twelve and fourteen. The most likely thing is actually Princess Yuzhen, she is the sister of Tang Xuanzong's mother, the brother and sister have deep feelings, and speak very well in front of tianzi. Moreover, Princess Yuzhen is a famous female Wenqing, and her family is the most cattle literary and art salon in Chang'an City, and Li Bai, Zhang Shu and others are regular guests. Such a famous lady who spans the political and literary circles is the best noble person to promote Wang Wei's "wen and excellent zeshi".
If there was no Wang Wei to insert this bar horizontally, the original internal determination was Zhang Jiugao, a Lingnanian. Zhang Jiugao's older brother was Zhang Jiuling, the last famous minister of the Kaiyuan Dynasty. The one who has been promoting Zhang Jiuling is the famous Xiang Xiang of the Middle Age of the New Century. Zhang Jiuling was the first well-known great talent from the barbaric land of Lingnan, and one of his most famous poems was "Looking at the Moon and Huaiyuan":

Zhang Jiuling was very knowledgeable, and he saw very early on that An Lushan's personality was treacherous and sinister, and he predicted to people that "those who are chaotic in the state will be like this." Once, When An Lushan violated military orders and lost a battle, Zhang Jiuling took the opportunity to ask him to kill him, but Tang Xuanzong said, "Ai Qing wants to learn from Wang Yan's story of Shi Le, to assume that An Lushan will be difficult to control in the future?" After that, An Lushan was deliberately released to show his magnanimity. In the end, An Lushan rebelled and repeated the scene of Shi Le's chaos in the last years of the Western Jin Dynasty. In his later years, Tang Xuanzong was a mess in terms of looking at people, and probably the talent for governing the country was exhausted before he reached his prime.
Wang Wei robbed Zhang Jiugao of his title in his early years, and later wrote to Zhang Jiuling when he was unsinking, saying that he wanted to be an official, and Zhang Jiuling also recommended him to be a right picker, which shows that he has a broad heart. Zhang Jiuling's speech and demeanor are also very elegant, and his demeanor is far beyond ordinary people. Since his death, Tang Xuanzong was very nostalgic, and whenever the prime minister recommended scholars to him, he always liked to ask, "How is this person's demeanor?" Can there be a bit like the Literature Gong (Zhang Jiuling's Literature)? ”
