At the same time, the new car will continue to be powered by a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0T turbocharged + 48 volt light hybrid fuel engine and a 2.0T + electric motor, with the transmission system matching the 8-speed automatic transmission, and some models are expected to provide four-wheel drive systems. In addition, with Volvo's continuous deepening of the new energy field, the first MPV will also be launched in the future for consumers to choose from.
As can be seen from the released exterior renderings, Volvo's first MPV model uses the same design elements as the XC60 in front, equipped with a blackened straight waterfall grille, and the Quake LED headlight set on both sides has also been retained. The body side offers multi-spoke alloy wheels with double-sided sliding doors. The rear of the car is expected to have a bilateral false two-out exhaust layout, and the Viking Axe LED taillight group above the tailgate is also more narrow and long.
At the same time, Volvo has also revealed in previous overseas media interviews that the brand will launch a new series of models in the future to replace the "S series" sedan and "V series" station wagon in the Volvo brand at this stage. The XC20 and XC100 models that have been exposed before are also expected to be officially released within this year.
