Dali Temple deliberately favored Chu Suiliang and did not agree to the punishment on the grounds that the sentence was too heavy. This matter was finally given to Li Zhi to decide, and Li Zhi did not investigate deeply, but only used the excuse to demean Chu Suiliang as the assassin of Tongzhou and let him hang up his post in the local area for three years. Three years later, he recalled Chu Suiliang to the capital and paid homage to the official Shangshu, and a year later he was promoted to the right servant of Shangshu and began to take charge of the government.

If the ministers were like Chu Suiliang, would Li Zhi still have a good life? So Li Zhi decided to kill the chicken and scare the monkey and give Chu Suiliang a lesson that he would never forget.
After this incident, Chu Suiliang was expelled from the imperial court. He was first demoted to the governor of Tan Prefecture (present-day Changsha), then to the governor of Guizhou (present-day Guilin), and then to Aizhou (present-day Thanh Hoa, Vietnam). In desperation, Chu Suiliang wrote a letter of love to Li Zhi. At this time, Chu Suiliang did not even know where the mistake was, and then moved the former emperor Li Shimin out, complaining to Li Zhi that he was conscientious and conscientious, hoping that Li Zhi could look at the past and let himself live in peace. Unfortunately, Li Zhi did not even read this letter. However, fortunately, I didn't watch it, and I may have to be degraded once. Soon after, Chu Suiliang died with Ren Shang, at the age of sixty-four.
