disposal

1. Li Yun rebellion

After Zhao Kuangyin's yellow robe was added, the Song Dynasty was established, and although the establishment of the Song Dynasty ended the fragmentation of Chinese history, rebellions continued.

With their own troops, they fought a rebellion in the early days of the song dynasty, and the most serious rebellion was Li Jun.

Li Yun was the founding hero of Later Zhou, but the countries of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms were destroyed by Zhao Kuangyin, and he himself was called emperor. Li Yun was not convinced, so he led his soldiers to rebel.

Once Li Yun was only Zhaoyi's emissary of moderation, since the Tang Dynasty, the moderation has made the strength stronger and stronger, resulting in most of the chaos in the Tang Dynasty being made by the moderation.

▲Shōyi Jiedushi

After Li Yun became the envoy of Zhaoyi Jiedushi, he stayed here for eight or nine years, and it was already deeply rooted, and the people who were familiar with Zhaoyi were more familiar with the terrain of Zhaoyi.

His base camp was at Zezhou City (zezhou City, in present-day Jincheng, Shanxi), where Li Yun had become Emperor Tu and wanted to rebel, and the people of Zhaoyi were naturally willing to follow. Not only that, because Li Yun's men were very loyal to Li Yun, Zhao Kuangyin could not attack Li Yun all the time.

The general responsible for attacking Li Yun was Shi Shouxin under Zhao Kuangyin, who fought a protracted war with Li Yun, but the Song Dynasty rebelled in more than one place, so Zhao Pu hoped to be able to break through as soon as possible and kill the chickens and scare the monkeys. Unfortunately, this war has always been a stalemate, until Zhao Kuangyin personally marched and defeated Li Yun.

2. Soldiers will be friendly

Later Zhao Pu and Zhao Kuangyin were analyzing why it was so difficult to fight, first of all, when Zhao Kuangyin was not yet emperor, his official position and ability were similar to Li Yun's, so after Zhao Kuangyin became emperor, even if he wanted to cut the domain, he also wanted Li Yun to let him.

Secondly, it was because Li Yun had been in Zhaoyi for too long, for eight or nine years, and was deeply rooted in mingling with the local military and civilians.

Therefore, they were all loyal, and at the time of Li Yun's rebellion, they once joined forces with the Northern Han to attack the Song Dynasty, even if Li Yun failed, the Northern Han Emperor's subordinate Wei Rong was captured, but in the face of Zhao Kuangyin's torture and torture, Wei Rong never convinced, let alone betrayed his master.

In the end, he was beaten by Zhao Kuangyin with blood all over his face, and he also shouted that he was dead. Song Taizu was touched by Wei Rong's loyalty and did not want his life, and later Song Taizu offered to exchange prisoners, but the Northern Han did not agree, so Wei Rong was left in Kaifeng as an official.

These two events made Song Taizu deeply understand that if the generals and soldiers are of the same heart, then they are the city walls that cannot be breached. Moreover, the walls made of earth can still be broken, and the walls made of the heart cannot be easily broken.

If the relationship between the superior and subordinate is very good, it is easy to cause rebellion, especially if there is military power, in the border defense, because the emperor is far away from the heavenly high, and the emperor has no way.

However, if the relationship between the superiors and subordinates is not friendly, it may not cause them to rebel. Zhao Kuangyin was far more sensitive to generals and military power than other emperors.

3. More methods

We are also very clear about Zhao Kuangyin's success, originally he was also a general, but when he rebelled, all his subordinates swore to follow him to the death, which made Zhao Kuangyin have today.

Moreover, when he did not want to be emperor, it was also his subordinates who added their yellow robes to achieve the current Song Taizu, so Zhao Kuangyin knew very well what kind of disasters would be caused if the relationship between the soldiers and generals was good.

Moreover, at the time of Li Chongjin's rebellion, the generals around him did not want to be born and die with him, so they hurriedly found Zhao Kuangyin and told Li Chongjin's plan, which made Li Chongjin's rebellion fail.

▲Li Chongjin (stills)

After the things of Li Jun, Li Chongjin, and Wei Rong, combined with the things on his own, Song Taizu felt that the most taboo between the superiors and subordinates was like this, so he should find a way to prevent them from being too familiar.

At this time, Zhao Pusi came to think that it was better to fight the law, and the generals had a short time to defend, changing every three or two years, so that the connection between the generals and the soldiers would be cut off.

And because they are not familiar with it, let alone rebel, the enhancement of local forces cannot be achieved, and they have different minds, so it is more convenient to manage. Zhao Pu's proposal was adopted by Song Taizu, who agreed to this method.

Sure enough, the centralization of power was also strengthened, and the local power of the Song Dynasty was not as great as that of the local power during the Tang Dynasty, so there were few local rebellions in the Song Dynasty.

However, there are advantages and disadvantages to everything, because the frequent change of generals leads to generals who do not know the soldiers and soldiers who do not know the generals, so the power of the Song Dynasty army is greatly reduced.

brief summary

The more shu method eliminated the possibility of local rebellion and helped to stabilize the centralization of power, but the more shu law later led to the weakening of the Song Dynasty's military strength.
