On the morning of January 9th, the publication of the Tao Te Ching of the Book of Wang Xi and the Seminar on Le Shi were held at the Wangfujing Bookstore in Beijing, and nearly 30 nationally renowned calligraphers, critics, publishers and journalists attended the event. Everyone spoke highly of the publication of the Tao Te Ching of the Book of The Collected King Xi and the significance of Le Shi, and put forward pertinent suggestions for some details in the collection.
The seminar was co-chaired by Chen Co-chair of the China Hard Pen Book Association. Before the discussion began, Zhang Leimin, chairman of the Hebei Provincial Association of Calligraphers and Painters in the Enterprise Circle and a well-known entrepreneur in our province, who served as the editor-in-chief of the "Book of Ji Wang Xi's Tao Te Ching", first introduced the basic situation of the collection of characters. Zhang Leimin said that Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching" and Wang Xizhi's calligraphy art are the two peaks of the Chinese nation's five-thousand-year civilization, and as early as two years ago, he had the idea of combining the two and collecting words into posters to provide everyone with a model that can be learned and copied. To this end, he organized and set up a professional team, and in the past two years, he has carefully visited the Chinese Character Museum, the National Library, the Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum and other relevant cultural institutions, consulted experts, and strived to find the earliest and clearest Wang Xizhi calligraphy as a collection of character blueprints, in order to form a perfect character library. The original materials collected such as posters and rubbings were collected and scanned and decomposed word by line, and finally formed a large and relatively complete library of Wang Xizhi calligraphy of nearly 30,000 words, and the font library incorporated a variety of changes in each word, and in the process of collecting words, with reference to the layout and center of gravity changes of other inscriptions, prudently adjusted. During this period, Zhang Leimin also visited Beijing many times to visit Bu Xiyang, a famous calligrapher and philology expert in China, and Zhao Tiexin, president of the Chinese Society of Popular Culture and a famous calligrapher, in order to achieve the best possible effect of collecting characters. Zhang Leimin said that he has a wish, such as the "Book of The Book of Wang Xi" has a certain positive significance in the inheritance of calligraphy and traditional culture, he wants to carve it into four large steles, plus the stele head, standing in his hometown of Fan County, Henan, so that it can be a phenomenon of cultural return and inheritance, feeding back the terroir of his hometown and the culture of his hometown.
Li Songchen, director of the Original Literature and History Office of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, put forward three views on the publication and distribution of the "Book of Collected Wang Xi's Tao Te Ching": First, the integration of this book is really the first. He said that he has held positions in various publishing houses for a long time, loves calligraphy and has the right to choose topics, and one of the things he has done in the past 20 years is to constantly search for Wang Xizhi's calligraphy legacy, but he has never seen a single word of the Tao Te Ching that collects Wang Xizhi's book, and has searched overseas many times, and has not found it, so it is the first. Secondly, this is a huge production. The Holy Order of the Book of Jiwang Xi has only 1904 words, while the Tao Te Ching has more than 5162 words. The number of words is large, and the difficulty of collecting words is of course great. Throughout this book, the opening is large, although the layout is tight, but the words are neat. The choice of words is thick and decent, but it is also stretched and flowing. Its knots are tight and dense, but they do not lose their grandeur. The whole text is graceful and mu, but it does not lose its elegance, dignified and beautiful, and it is also round and fluent. Again, the implications are profound. Cultural self-confidence is the full affirmation and active practice of a nation, a country and a political party for its own cultural values, and a firm confidence in the vitality of its culture. The Tao Te Ching is one of the greatest masterpieces in Chinese history and has had a profound impact on China's traditional philosophy, science, politics, religion, etc. Combining China's earliest and most influential cultural classics with Wang Xizhi's calligraphy, which is revered as a book saint in China, this is undoubtedly a major event in the history of Chinese calligraphy. As a fellow villager, he expressed great support for Zhang Leimin's idea of erecting the stone inscription of the Tao Te Ching of the Book of Ji Wang Xi in his hometown.
Bu Xiyang, a researcher at the China Museum of Culture and History, said that as of now, the inkblot of Wang Xizhi's handwriting can be said to be nothing, and it is not easy to collect more than 5,000 words now. He proposed that the font chosen for the Tao Te Ching of the Book of Ji Wang Xi was mostly derived from the Holy Order. There is also a part from the "Chunhua Ge Fa Ti", which is very well collected. Mr. Zhang Leimin wants to carve this into four large monuments, which will definitely be very grand. He suggested that a monument pavilion should be built to protect it, otherwise the weathering would be very fast. He further suggested that the book could be inscribed on the basis of the original. Make a promenade for everyone to enjoy.
Chen Te'an, former director of the International Department of the People's Daily, said that the "Tao Te Ching of the Book of Collected Wang Xi" edited by Mr. Zhang Leimin perfectly integrates the two classics in the history of philosophy and the history of calligraphy, complementing each other and complementing each other. He said that the "Tao Te Ching of the Book of Collecting Wang Xi" can be used as a new poster of Wang Xi for in-depth study, and can also be used as a new reading for learning Laozi's philosophy, which can be said to be a grand event and an elegant event, and will certainly play a very positive role in inheriting and carrying forward the culture and calligraphy art of our country' Tao Te Ching, invigorating the national spirit, strengthening cultural self-confidence, and helping the great rejuvenation of the nation. The perfect combination of classics and classics is an innovation and example of 1+1 far greater than 2.
Zhang Leimin, chairman of the Hebei Enterprise Calligraphers and Painters Association, introduced the process of collecting characters into books
Liu Guang, deputy director of the editorial department of China Calligraphy and Painting Magazine, briefly sorted out Wang Xizhi's calligraphy and thesis system generation in his speech, and he said that the "Collection of Wang XiZi Tao Te Ching" edited by Mr. Zhang Leimin was a pioneering achievement in many aspects such as scale and volume. The work team has done thousands of times of deliberation in the selection of glyphs, the rhythm of the line, and the layout of the whole article, used a large number of reference books, formed a huge team of expert consultants, and used a high-end computer production team to carefully deliberate and tirelessly. Mr. Zhang Leimin's artistic practice is of great significance to the promotion of excellent traditional culture, is "inherited in development", and will inevitably become a milestone in the artistic journey of the new era. At the same time, this move will certainly play a positive role in the revival of the thesis.
Well-known domestic calligraphers and critics Zhao Tiexin, Zhao Hong, Ma Guoqing, Liu Daxin, Li Mu, Li Gang, He Jizhou, Yao Gannan, Lin Fuguang, Zhao Haibing, vice chairman and secretary general of Hebei Enterprise Calligraphers and Painters Association, and Sun Junke, vice chairman and executive deputy secretary general, attended the event and delivered speeches.
