On the afternoon of January 12, Tianjin held the 166th press conference on epidemic prevention and control. At the press conference, Han Jinyan, director of the Tianjin Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention and deputy director of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission, introduced that as of 14:00 on January 12, a total of 137 cases of positive new crown pneumonia virus infection were reported, of which 76 cases of local confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia (50 cases of mild and 26 cases of ordinary type), 17 cases of asymptomatic infection of local new crown virus, and 44 other cases of positive initial screening infection were to be notified after further verification by the clinical expert group.
Among them, there were 130 cases in Jinnan District, 3 cases in Xiqing District, 3 cases in Hexi District, and 1 case in Binhai New Area. Up to now, none of the asymptomatic infected people with the new crown virus in the country have been classified as confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia. Except for 2 cases of indicator cases, 5 exceptions for large-scale screening of social personnel by all employees, the other infected people are close contacts of the indicator cases and management personnel in the sealing and control area/control area, and the transmission relationship is basically clear.
