Ele.me piloted a smart helmet in Shanghai: integrated with Bluetooth headsets, the mirror surface can also resist fogging in winter

A month ago, the Blue Knight Li Sen received a new helmet from the Hungry Blue Knight in Yangpu District.

Regardless of appearance or weight, it is not much different from ordinary winter helmets, but it is not only waterproof, anti-fogging, but also can be connected to receive calls through Bluetooth links.

In fact, this is a smart helmet piloted by Ele.me in Shanghai, and hundreds of knights are experiencing it like Li Sen.

At first, I was skeptical, but I didn't expect it to be very useful, and my brothers around me came to ask me where I bought it.

Li Sen said that he likes the Bluetooth headset function of the smart helmet the most.

In the past, when delivering, Li Sen first put on a pair of Bluetooth headsets, which were used to answer the phone, and then put the helmet on the outside. It is not obstructive in the short term, but over time it can increase the pressure on the ear.

I also wear glasses and masks, and sometimes my ears hurt.

After having a smart helmet, Li Sen can answer the phone by tapping the button on the left side of the helmet by connecting the phone to the helmet Bluetooth.

When making a call, you can also use the helmet directly as a Bluetooth headset, and the standby time can reach 20 hours.

According to Ele.me's previous research on knights, the built-in Bluetooth, microphone, and order-receiving operation through voice commands in the helmet are the functions they call for the most.

Chen Yanxia, head of the operation department of Ele.me Knight, introduced that in order to improve the accuracy of speech recognition, the smart helmet is equipped with an independent noise reduction control chip, which can make speech recognition more accurate after reducing environmental noise. In addition to Mandarin, smart helmets can also recognize instructions in a variety of dialects, such as Northeast Andhoku and Cantonese.

At the same time, the anti-fogging function of smart helmets is also welcomed by many knights. Chen Peiming, designer of the smart helmet experience, said that this upgrade was originally based on the advice of a knight.

Previously, a knight suggested that wearing a mask in winter, helmet lenses are easy to fog, which will affect the line of sight.

After using anti-fog materials, whether it is raining or alternating between hot and cold, the lens will no longer raise a white mist.

In addition, the smart helmet can also be used through built-in sensors for wear detection and collision detection, in case of dangerous situations can be called emergency contacts with one click.

In addition to the above functions, Ele.me is also testing the interconnection of smart helmets and knight order software to expand more functions.

For example, the use of AI intelligent voice assistant to answer the knight's daily questions; when encountering abnormal situations such as not being able to contact the user, help the knight automatically report by identifying whether to call the user's phone, etc., without manually submitting an application.

It is understood that Ele.me's smart helmet is expected to cover 100,000 active knights across the country this year. The first smart helmets were in the form of targeted invitations, which were distributed to knights for free for internal testing.

Chen Yanxia said that after the subsequent opening of the purchase, Ele.me will subsidize each smart helmet to ensure that the price of smart helmets is the same as the price of existing ordinary helmets. Knights can choose whether to use smart helmets according to their own delivery needs.

She also revealed that in addition to smart helmets, Ele.me will also launch smart lunch boxes and other equipment this year, so that smart equipment can become a good helper in knight delivery work.

Our original intention is to protect everyone's safety in the distribution process through intelligent interaction, improve distribution efficiency, and also protect everyone's health.
