On the evening of January 9, Changan Automobile (000625) announced the December 2021 production and sales express, the company produced 202,839 vehicles in that month, a decrease of 16.55% year-on-year; sales of 178,019 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 11.26%.
As a result, Changan Automobile's cumulative production and sales in 2021 were 2,290,065 units and 2,300,530 units, respectively, an increase of 12.64% and 14.82% year-on-year, respectively.
The upstream news reporter learned that the business goal of the board of directors of Changan Automobile in 2021 at the beginning of the year was to strive to achieve the production and sales of more than 2.15 million vehicles, and now it seems to have completed the target.
On January 9, Changan Automobile closed at 14.47 yuan, down 0.69%, with a turnover rate of 1.19%, a dynamic price-earnings ratio of 39.02, and a total market value of 110.4 billion yuan.
The announcement shows that among the 2,300,530 vehicles sold in 2021, Changan's own brand sales were 1,754,707 units, an increase of 16.70% year-on-year; the sales of autonomous passenger cars were 1,204,203 units, an increase of 23.08% year-on-year; and Changan Ford's sales were 304,682 units, an increase of 20.29% year-on-year.
