Because of the appearance of bamboo jian in this tomb that records the relationship between Fan Li and Xi Shi, archaeologists have speculated that we may have misunderstood the role of Xi Shi and the relationship between Xi Shi and Fan Li for more than 2,000 years.
Hongshan excavated a large tomb, 6 small and medium-sized tombs, the largest suspected is the tomb of Fan Li, its shape and specifications are in line with the characteristics of the Wuyue noble tomb in the Spring and Autumn Period, and the excavation of fan Li's life of the ancient bamboo Jane. However, the historical Fan Li was both a courtier of the Yue King and a native of the State of Chu, and he traveled to the State of Qi and the Song Dynasty to do business and traveled all over the place, so that the suspected Tomb of Fan Li in Shandong, Hunan, Hubei and Anhui also existed.
Although many archaeologists believe that this tomb is fan li's tomb, there are also objections. Leaving aside these, just to say that the bamboo Jane unearthed in the tomb, the bamboo Jane is a more real historical data than the history books in many cases, and the record of this "Fan Li Tomb" makes people feel shocked:

In order to take revenge, Gou Jian ordered Wen Zhong and Fan Li to search for the beauty of the Yue Kingdom, and finally found Xi Shi and trained him.

However, according to Zhu Jian and the Records of Wu Di, after Fan Li Xishi had a private affair, Xi Shi actually gave birth to a child named "Yu'er Ting", and Fan Li did not think of taking Xi Shi away, but instead used the child as a threat and asked Xi Shi to go to Wu Wang Fuchai's side to shi Meiren.
If Fan Li and Xi Shi had such a relationship, how could they be called lovers? How could Xi Shi continue to fall in love with Fan Li after Wu du was broken? Fan Li was a pure use of Xi Shi, and sima Qian's "Records of History" did not mention that Xi Shi Fan Li fell in love, only that after Wu Was broken, Fan Li "was pretending to be his light jewel jade, and since he and his private disciples floated in the sea by boat, they did not return (return), so they practiced the table hui Ji Shan and thought that Fan Li was fengyi." ”
