Dongg gege: She is the only daughter of Dorgon, a mysterious Gege, whose whereabouts are still a mystery

There are many mysteries surrounding Dorgon, such as why Dorgon is not called emperor, whether Xiaozhuang married Dorgon, etc., and one of the most eye-catching mysteries is why Dorgon only has one daughter, Dongguo Gege.

You know, there are many wives and concubines of Dorgon, and there are seven Fujin and four concubines in history:

Fujin, Borzigit clan. Born from the Mongolian Horqin tribe, the granddaughter of Borzigit Min'an (Beyler of the Mongolian Korqin tribe), Dorgon married him when he was 13 years old. Concubine Fujin, Empress Yi, borjigit clan. Born from the Mongolian Horqin tribe, daughter of Sonobtaiji and Horqin's concubines, and niece of Xiaozhuang. Following Fu Jin, Tong Jia. Manchu, daughter of Shang Shu Mengetu. Sanfujin, Borzigit clan. Born from the Mongolian Zarman tribe, daughter of GendurTaiji. Sifujin, Borzigit clan. Born from the Mongolian Korqin tribe, she is the daughter of Labush sitaiji. WufuJin, Borzigit clan. Born from the Mongolian Horqin tribe, daughter of Sonobtaiji and niece of Empress Xiaozhuangwen. Liu Fu Jin, Princess Li of Yishun. Born from the Joseon clan of the Lee clan, she is the daughter of Lee Kai-yin (grandson of Emperor Seongjong of Joseon). Concubine, of the Gongzit clan, from the Chahar tribe of Mongolia, daughter of Yanbututaiji. Concubine, of the Borzigit clan, daughter of Duskar Chonontaiji. Concubine, of the Zilmot clan, daughter of Bangwutu. Concubine, Lee. Daughter of Li Shixu. Imagine that Dorgon was married at the age of 13, married to the granddaughter of Belbolzigit Ming'an of the Horqin Department of Mongolia, and died of illness at the age of 39, how could Dorgon not have only one daughter in the past 26 years? Since there is Donggu, it means that Dorgon has the ability to procreate, but why is there no other record of Dorgon's heirs in the history books except Donggu?

Dongg gege: She is the only daughter of Dorgon, a mysterious Gege, whose whereabouts are still a mystery

It's always a mystery!

Of course, no matter what, in the history books, Dorgon's heirs are only Donggu!

There is only one record in the Qing history of Dongguo Gege, that is, after the death of Dorgon and the pro-government of Shunzhi, Dongguo Gege was handed over to the custody of Doni, the king of Xin County. Why did it go to Dorney? Quite simply, because Doni's father was Dordor, the younger brother of One of Dorgon's mother's siblings.

At that time, shortly after Dorgon's death, Shunzhi began to liquidate him, as Dorgon's only daughter Dongguo Gege was naturally doomed, but because she was a woman and was still young, it was not a threat to Shunzhi, so Shunzhi did not have any excessive behavior towards Dongguo Gege, plus Shunzhi still had some feelings for Dongguo Gege, so he only ordered her to be handed over to his cousin Dorgon, after all, Dorgon is now the closest person in Dongguo, handed over to him, Dongguo at least will not be bullied.

In addition to the above records, the Qing history has no record of Dongguo.

Because there is no record in the history of the Qing Dynasty, the end of Dongguo Gege is naturally unknown.

Dongg gege: She is the only daughter of Dorgon, a mysterious Gege, whose whereabouts are still a mystery

However, according to the research of current Qing historians, after Dongguo became an adult, it is likely that he would marry a Mongol prince. In the present-day city of Hohhot there is a Princess Kejing Mansion (kangxi sixth daughter Gulun Kejing Princess Mansion), according to the "Princess Mansion Chronicle", this mansion was said to be inhabited by the great-granddaughter of Dorgon, to know that Dorgon only has one daughter, Dongguo, naturally said that Dorgon had a great-granddaughter who lived in Mongolia, which can only mean that Donggu was ordered by the Shunzhi Emperor to marry the princes and nobles of the Mongol tribes.

In fact, this conclusion is not unfounded. When the Qing Dynasty established itself, because of its ethnic sparse population, in order to make the Jiangshan stable and better rule the Han nationality, which was a hundred times more numerous and a thousand times more numerous than them, they married each other with Mongolia, or the emperor or the prince married a Mongolian princess, or the princess or the county lord married a Mongolian prince, using the in-law relationship to firmly tie Mongolia to his own boat, so all the emperors of the Qing Dynasty at that time had Mongolian blood. According to statistics, in the final Qing Dynasty, there were about 500 princesses who married Mongolia, so it is not unusual for Dong gu gege to marry mongolia.

So since it is entirely possible for Dongguo to marry a Mongol prince, which Mongol prince is she marrying?

According to historical records, from the time Dongguo was sent to the custody of the Doni family to the eighteenth year of Shunzhi, two of the imperial families who married the Mongols were unidentified, one married the Prince of Horqin Tushetu, Bayas Hulang, around the thirteenth year of Shunzhi, with the title of Dorogge; the other married Horqintai Ji'ezier (brother of Empress Xiaohui) around the fifteenth year of Shunzhi, without a title, only called Gege.

Which prince did Dong Gu Gege marry?

It is most likely that The Prince of Horqin Tushetu, Bayas Goran.

First of all, according to the Chronicle of the Princess's House, the great-granddaughter of dorgon was Heshuo Gege, if this record is correct, it is clear that her father must have been a prince, because according to the Qing system, only the princess's concubine could be called Heshuo Gege, and the daughters below the prince could not be called Gege, but could only be called county lords, county lords, county lords, county lords, and so on, and according to historical records, the sons of Horqintai Ji Özier were not princes, so the most likely was Bayas Hulang, the prince of Horqin Tushetu.

Secondly, there is another thing that can also be corroborated by the marriage of Dongguo Gege to bayas Golang, the prince of Horqin Tushetu, that is, around the seventh year of Shunzhi, Doni married the daughter of Badali, the prince of Tushetu, that is, the sister or sister of Bayas Golang. According to the custom of the Qing Dynasty, if the royal family or clan marries the daughter of a Mongol prince, the Mongol prince will inevitably marry the daughter of the royal family or clan, so if it is customary, Dong gu gege is very likely to marry Bayas Hulang.

Of course, the above is just speculation, not necessarily correct.

In addition, in addition to the records in the history books, there are two kinds of folk legends about the ending of Dongguo Gege.

One is that Dong Gu Gege is a folk, and he falls in love with a scholar, and then the two get married and have children. This legend can basically be determined to be a legend, without any authenticity, even if DongGuo Gege lost his title because of his father's relationship, but his clan identity was not deprived, he is still an imperial relative, so how can such an identity be lost to the people and fall in love with a scholar?

The other was that Dongguo Gege was later taken into the imperial palace by the Shunzhi Emperor as a concubine of Dong E. This argument is even more absurd, dong Efei's identity has long been clear in the history books, is the daughter of the minister of the interior, Eshuo, so she can never be Dongguo Gege. In addition, Dongguo Gege is Shunzhi's cousin, also surnamed Ai XinJueluo, have you ever seen a marriage with the same surname? How could it be!

Legends, after all, are legends, without any credibility.

Of course, in history, although Dorgon only had the only daughter of Dongguo, he had an adopted son who had been inherited from Dorgon's younger brother Dorgon, who was Aisin Kyora Dolbo. In December 1650, Dorgon died of illness. At this time, Shunzhi had not yet liquidated Dorgon and did not appease the forces loyal to Dorgon, and he not only posthumously honored Dorgon as emperor, but also passed on a son for him, asking him to inherit his inheritance, this son was Dolbo, dolbo, and Shunzhi asked him to inherit the title of Prince of Dolgunrui.

However, the good times did not last long, and as Shunzhi gradually took control of the court, the liquidation of Dorgon began. In February 1651, less than 2 months later, Shunzhi first stripped Dorgon of all honors and expelled Dorgon from the clan on charges of usurping the throne and acting arbitrarily, and then let Dolbo return to Dolgun, no longer be Dolgun's stepson, deprive Prince Rui, and demote Dorobele.
