Zhu Yuanzhang was born in poverty, and when he was young, he experienced many hardships and hardships, and in those difficult years, he had his wife Empress Ma spent time with him, so he had very deep feelings for Empress Ma, and he also had extremely deep feelings for Zhu Biao, the child born to Empress Ma.
In 1364, Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself the King of Wu and immediately made Zhu Biao the son of the world, and 4 years later Zhu Yuanzhang was proclaimed emperor, and Zhu Biao naturally became the crown prince. Probably due to the different growing environments, Zhu Biao and Zhu Yuanzhang's personalities are very different, so although he is favored, he will still argue with Zhu Yuanzhang when he encounters things that do not conform to his own opinions.
In the "Mingshu Yiwen Crown Prince Chronicle", such a small story is recorded, Zhu Biao saw Zhu Yuanzhang kill many famous heroes, and his heart was very unbearable, so he raised objections to Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Yuanzhang was furious and chased after Zhu Biao, and when Zhu Biao ran, he deliberately dropped the portrait of Empress Ma in his arms on the ground, which made Zhu Yuanzhang very sentimental, so he no longer beat him, but gave him a good reason.
Zhu Yuanzhang's way of reasoning is also very peculiar, he did not dry reasoning, but let Zhu Biao to hold a crutch full of thorns, Zhu Biao of course can not hold, Zhu Yuanzhang will cut off the thorns on the crutch, and then let Zhu Biao to hold, he immediately grasped, at this time Zhu Yuanzhang explained in a serious tone: "Child, I am now to pull out those thorns for you." ”
In Zhu Yuanzhang's view, those old brothers who followed him to fight the world may become the "thorns" after his son took over the throne, so he found various reasons to pull out those "thorns", but left a famous general Geng Bingwen who was juxtaposed with Xu Da.
Geng Bingwen's father was an old subordinate who had followed Zhu Yuanzhang's struggle very early, while Geng Bingwen had already taken over his father's team at the age of 22, defeated Zhang Shicheng and other powerful feudal princes many times, and later led the army with Xu Da on expeditions to the desert, and his merits were juxtaposed with Xu Da, and he had a very prominent military characteristic, that is, he was good at defending and not attacking.
Zhu Biao, as the crown prince of Zhu Yuanzhang, was talented and benevolent, and if he ascended the throne and was called emperor, it was natural that no one would disagree, but unfortunately his life expectancy was relatively short, and he died young at the age of 37, at this time Zhu Yuanzhang was 64 years old. When the crown prince died, the country still had to have an heir, and Zhu Yuanzhang loved Zhu Biao very deeply, so he made Zhu Biao's son Zhu Yunjiao the emperor's grandson and stipulated that Zhu Yunjiao was his heir.
At the same time, Zhu Yuanzhang also knew that in this way, there would definitely be people who were not convinced, especially his old fourth Zhu Di, who was born on the battlefield, and it was very likely that after his death, he would create a rebellion by his nephew, in order to prevent Zhu Di from rebelling, he left Zhu Yunzhang with Geng Bingwen, a fierce general who was originally left to Zhu Biao.
Zhu Yuanzhang believed that although Zhu Di's military talent was outstanding, he absolutely could not break through Geng Bingwen's defenses, and as long as he could not break through in a short period of time, then the imperial court could calmly dispatch troops to destroy Zhu Di. Zhu Yuanzhang prepared all his children, and in 1398 he died peacefully, and was succeeded by the emperor's grandson Zhu Yunjiao.
In August of the following year, the Yan king Zhu Dixing rebelled, and Zhu Yunjiao suppressed it with the famous general Geng Bingwen left by his grandfather Zhu Yuanzhang. Geng Bingwen lost after the initial battle, so he continued to carry forward his strengths in defending the city, concentrating his forces in the city, and Zhu Di was completely helpless. Zhu Di knew that it would be detrimental to him to continue to fight, so he spread rumors that Geng Bingwen could not fight, and that what he was most afraid of was only Li Jinglong.
Zhu Yunxiong immediately made a plan, because he did not know that Geng Bingwen was not good at defending and attacking, and seeing that he had been unable to shrink after the failure of the attack, he decisively replaced the marshal of the army with Li Jinglong, and as a result, he was defeated, Zhu Di directly entered the capital, Zhu Yunxiu disappeared, and Geng Bingwen also committed suicide the following year.
Geng Bingwen was a famous general in the world, and Zhu Yuanzhang left him behind, which could have helped Zhu Yunzhang tide over the difficulties, but Zhu Yunzhang did not understand his grandfather's good intentions, so he forced Geng Bingwen, a good defender, to attack, resulting in his own basic disk not being defended, which was really using the example of the wrong person.
In fact, this story is the same as it is now, many people have extraordinary abilities, but they are put in an inappropriate position by the leader, and the result is a disaster for the entire organization.
