The experts examined the Yangxin Hall for a long time without finding the truth, until they finally turned their attention to the stone slabs underground. After digging up, it was found that the water pipes below were all underneath, and it turned out that the Yangxin Hall would be so wet and cold because the water in the water pipe below was constantly evaporating. In fact, the purpose of building the water pipe at that time was to adjust the temperature of the room and let the emperor have a most comfortable environment. Ancient carpenters thought of such a way to put cold water into the water pipe in the summer to cool the room. In the winter, heat the indoor water, heat up the room, and warm up the house.
