The total area of this huge site, according to the data shows a total of 400,000 square meters, the key area can even reach 200,000 square meters, its location is located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, in a place called Lajia Village, is a large settlement created in the Neolithic Era, and this site is also the only ancient large-scale disaster site found in China so far.
Archaeologists found a total of 14 human skeletons at site 4, and surprisingly, most of the 14 skeletons were child skeletons, and the youngest skeleton was even 2 years old. Later, after rigorous DNA testing by experts, it was found that the 14 remains were closely related to each other.
In addition to finding the remains of a family, archaeologists have made even more impressive discoveries, that is, a bowl of noodles made of millet, and so on, that people more than 4,000 years ago actually used millet to make noodles. Later, this Lajia site, known as the "Ruins of Love", became one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China at that time.
Today, the lajia ruins are known as the "Pompeii of the East", with a great reputation and are well known by many people at home and abroad.
