This is the origin of the idiom "Happy not to think of Shu", and Liu Chan was once controversial because of this allusion, one said that Liu Chan was a great wisdom and foolishness, and the other said that he was weak and could not be delayed by Yile. The former is certainly reasonable, and the latter may be "inherited" from his father Liu Bei, because Liu Bei also did this kind of thing in the past.
Legend has it that after the Battle of Chibi, Liu Bei married Sun Quan's sister Sun Shangxiang, and from then on he was entangled with Sun Shangxiang and was unhappy, even though his brothers repeatedly advised him, but Liu Bei still did not want to return to the Shu kingdom, which was the real joy.
Liu Bei was born in 160 AD, because of the "Tui En Ling", although Liu Bei was the queen of Zhongshan Jing, by his generation, he had fallen to the point of having to weave mats and sell shoes to survive. Liu Biao asked Liu Bei to garrison Xinye, and Haojie from all over Jingzhou heard the sound and returned, Liu Biao was originally quite courteous, but after seeing this scene, he became wary of Liu Bei.
In 208, after Liu Biao's death, Jingzhou was indeed not given to Liu Bei, but to his second son Liu Chun. Liu Chun was weak, and when he saw Cao Jun calling, he said that he did not say a word to Liu Bei, and he surrendered without a fight, and Liu Bei could not bear to fight with Emperor Zong, so he did not take Jingzhou, but had to flee.
In the same year, Liu Bei used Zhuge Liang's plan to join Sun against Cao. Cao Bing attacked with 200,000 soldiers and horses, but Sun Liu's army was only about 30,000, and the gap in strength was very large. At this time, first Pang Tong offered the iron cable series of plans, and Wu sacrificed Huang Gai's bitter meat and deception, and burned all the connected Cao Jun ships with fire attacks, thus achieving the miracle of winning more with less.
After the Battle of Chibi, Sun Liu temporarily made friends, and while he was happy, Sun Quan married his 19-year-old sister Sun Shangxiang to the 49-year-old Liu Bei to marry Sun Liu. But in real history, Liu Bei did not think about Sun Shangxiang at all, and even the two were married for 3 years, until they were separated in 211 AD, Sun Shangxiang's stomach never moved.
It turned out that although Sun Shangxiang was a woman, but his arrogance was not lost to men, especially liked to dance knives and guns, there were more than 100 female guards with high martial arts, each of them held a knife to guard her side, even if Liu Bei, as a husband, wanted to see Sun Shangxiang, it was difficult, how could Liu Bei have "interest" in this case?
In addition, Liu Bei also knew that this marriage was just an ordinary political marriage, and Sun Shangxiang was beautiful and moving, and he was proud, how could he let an old man who was nearly 50 years old touch himself.
