They lived together for 27 years, but coincidentally, after lin Huiyin's death, Liang Sicheng took the initiative to confess to Lin Su, a female student 27 years younger than himself, and the confession letter was written very romantically and sincerely.

Cheng Yingquan brothers and Shen Congwen have a very good relationship, in 1944 Cheng Yingquan graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering of national central university, through the brother's arrangement and a female student of his brother to go to Shanghai, this female student is Lin Su, Cheng Yingquan originally just helped to take care of her, did not expect to go to Shanghai, Lin Su's father admired the young man, the two fell in love.
After that, in 1948, Cheng Yingquan went to the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University on the recommendation of his old classmates and took Lin Su with him. Lin Su and Lin Huiyin are fellow countrymen, her father and Lin Huiyin have met several times, in order to let his daughter have a good future, Lin Huiyin wrote to Lin Huiyin to ask her, can you help Lin Su enter the Tsinghua Preparatory Course? As long as he passes the grades in various subjects for one year, Lin Su can become a Tsinghua student.
In fact, this class was not completed that year, and even if it was done, only the relatives or children of Tsinghua faculty and staff could enjoy this preferential treatment. Father Lin did not know what the situation was, so he wrote a letter for help, Lin Huiyin was not a relative of him, he had only dealt with him a few times, and at that time she was very sick and weak, and it was reasonable to say that there was nothing to help. But Lin Huiyin still supported his body to help Lin Su learn English, which is likely to be for Cheng Yingquan's sake.
Cheng Yingquan is the proud protégé of Liang Sicheng Lin Huiyin and his wife, young talent, extremely high architectural talent, and a very straight personality. Lin Su failed to go to Tsinghua, did not even study in college, and finally chose to marry Cheng Yingquan, and also stayed in the Tsinghua Architecture Department as a staff member, and the two had a son and a daughter after marriage. In 1957, Cheng Yingquan suffered a major blow because of the times, and the next year Lin Su divorced him, which was too unauthentic in the eyes of others.
What is even more unauthentic is that many years later, Lin Su was interviewed, but said that the reason for the divorce was that Cheng Yingquan fell in love with another female student. This interview can still be found in the record, but according to the memories of the descendants of Cheng Yingquan's friends, the so-called beautiful female student is the girlfriend that Cheng Yingquan and Lin Su found after divorce, and Chen Zhanxiang, another protagonist of the "Liang Chen Plan", also saw the girl's photo in 1963.
In 1962, Lin Su and Liang Sicheng got married. Before marriage, Lin Su, as a staff member of Tsinghua Architecture Department, had many opportunities to get along with Liang Sicheng, and when Lin Hui was seriously ill, Liang Sicheng was very depressed and needed Lin Su's comfort. After Lin Huiyin's death, Liang Sicheng and Lin Su's feelings gradually deepened, and he took the initiative to confess: "You have given me great happiness... If I officially send you an 'application form', I wonder how you will approve the law? ”
Romance is very romantic, but in the eyes of Liang Sicheng's friends and children, Lin Su is very incompatible with Liang Sicheng regardless of knowledge, age and life experience, let alone compared with Lin Huiyin. When liang Sicheng was 61 years old when he got married, Lin Su was only 34 years old, his identity was still Liang Sicheng's student ex-wife, and he had a pair of children, why did Liang Sicheng insist on marrying her, and even broke off relations with his friends, and even had conflicts with his own children?

If according to Liang Sicheng's performance, the biggest reason for him to marry Lin Su should be to have a spiritual and life partner in his later years, and Lin Su is more in line with the requirements, and the two have known each other for a long time and can also talk;
But according to Lin Su's description in his memoirs, Lin Huiyin married Liang Sicheng only 7 years after his death, more or less because of the marriage between Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin, there are some regrets, he and Lin Huiyin are together, it is not as easy as being with Lin Su:

She is one of the writers of the "History of Chinese Architecture", participated in the design of the national emblem and the monument to the people's heroes, the main architectural pattern of the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery, participated in the establishment of the architecture departments of Tsinghua University and Northeastern University, and did her best to rescue the traditional cultural treasure cloisonné craft, leaving a large number of architectural designs and literary works, a song "You are the April Day on Earth" is a classic in the hearts of countless people.
Liang Sicheng's evaluation of Lin Huiyin's sentence "The article is good for the wife" is really not wrong, people who have seen the "Lin Huiyin Anthology" naturally know how good her writing is, do not say poetry, just write architecture can be written flexibly and interestingly, the real text is like its person. So I don't dare to agree with Lin Su's point of view, a woman is too good, but has become a "sin" in marriage? Is the family an obligation that belongs only to women?
Or is there a heart of people deliberately deviating from the point, not talking about its achievements, only talking about housework, emotional gossip, so that many people are affected, mentioning Lin Huiyin can only think of some topics of male and female feelings, her evaluation is not beautiful or talented, there may be "green tea", rather than an architect who shoulders the sense of responsibility of the family and country?
