In the whole year of 2021, Foton Motor Zhucheng Plant completed export orders to produce 42,598 vehicles, an increase of 50% over last year's 28,371 vehicles, and export order production hit a record high.
In order to further enhance the on-time delivery capacity of overseas orders, Zhucheng factory area gives priority to meeting overseas order production, improves the manufacturing quality of overseas products, and adopts the principle of priority guarantee and fastest delivery of parts and components to meet the needs of overseas markets to the greatest extent.
Under the national strategic framework of the "Belt and Road", many of Foton Motor's brands have taken advantage of the opportunity to expand overseas markets. At present, Foton Motor Group has built more than 2,000 overseas distribution outlets around the world, with products and services in more than 100 countries around the world, with a cumulative export of 650,000 vehicles, maintaining the first place in China's commercial vehicle exports for 11 consecutive years. Foton Motor Zhucheng Plant is positioned as a truck manufacturing center, a truck research and development center, and a global truck export base, and export orders have risen year after year. Especially in the past year, the epidemic situation abroad is not optimistic, and the demand for export orders in Zhucheng factories has increased significantly.
Among them, foton motor and Italy Piaggio Group jointly developed the first new New Porter NP6 city micro card, launched in Europe in January 2021, the product is mainly produced by the Zhucheng factory pilot factory, is China's first micro card that meets European standards. At the same time, the project also achieved a breakthrough in the export of technology by Chinese commercial vehicle companies to Europe for the first time. Since its launch, the Pilot factory has delivered more than 7,000 New Porter NP6 products.
At present, Foton Motor's exports are mainly for the Asia-Pacific region, South Asia, the Americas and Africa. At present, among China's commercial vehicle brands, Foton Motor ranks first in the Philippines, Vietnam and other market shares; in the field of new energy vehicles, Foton Motor has also broken through Chile, Egypt, Pakistan and other markets, and has become a leader in the market share of new energy in Chile.
