At the end of the year and the beginning of the year, various literary works lists have been released. Critics and readers judge from their own reading perspectives, and finally produce a list of literary works in the eyes of the "other". In this process, in addition to the work itself, the author's "self-identity" will be more or less absent, and there will often be errors in understanding or over-interpretation, and some works that the author does not care much about are focused, and the works that the author values are often ignored. Not only to correct deviations, but also to provide young authors with an online platform for self-interpretation, self-recommendation and even self-"justification" of their latest works, the public account of Tianya magazine has launched a special plan of "Self-Evidence of Literature: Self-Recommendation List of Young Writers" from now on.
This list is open to young authors and is developed in the form of self-recommendation, and the self-recommended content is the most valued works of individuals published and published in 2021, and the genre is not limited. With no rankings, no judges, no fixed quotas, this list is, in a sense, a fluid and endless list, all written by young writers. The author's self-introduction, from another side, provides literary researchers and readers with a perspective on the text, avoiding the real work of painstaking efforts from being overlooked. Due to the limited vision of the editorial department, the coverage of specially invited young writers is certainly incomplete, and will be widely invited later; young writers who intend to recommend themselves can also send us special mailboxes ([email protected]) in accordance with the corresponding format, and we will publish them one after another after compilation.

Are martial arts novels literature or not? In the great history of literature, it is difficult to find its traces. For a long time, the type of wuxia novel has been "concubine inexplicable", which has also caused the information behind wuxia novels to be exhausted. Hong Kong and Taiwan are the birthplace of new martial arts novels, Hong Kong since 1954 Liang Yusheng's "Dragon tiger fighting Jinghua", set off the prelude to the creation of new school martial arts novels, for a long time, in people's impression, Hong Kong's martial arts novel writers seem to be only Jin Yong and Liang Yusheng. However, if you consider the historical data, you will find that many literati in Hong Kong were involved in the writing of martial arts novels, and compared with the taiwanese martial arts novel writers who are mostly professional creators, hong Kong martial arts novel writers Tai semi-part-time, can be called elegant. In 2017, Mr. Ni Kuang and I interviewed wuxia, and we exchanged views with Mr. Shen Xicheng, the president of Hong Kong Wuxia World, to review the history of martial arts in Hong Kong. Looking back at the rise and fall of Hong Kong martial arts novels, I always feel that I have the responsibility to write it out, and I have this article. Hong Kong martial arts novels from prosperity to decline, in the past 60 years, are immersed in the feelings of home and country of Hong Kong writers.
About the Author

Xiang Xun's "Book with Father"

It's a long non-fiction work that had to be written. One of the original intentions of writing this book was to have a marathon long conversation with his father in order to re-understand his father, understand his father, and reach a reconciliation with his father. To this end, I plunged into the abyss of memory, salvaged thousands of details related to my father, and focused on exploring the Chinese father-son relationship, husband and wife relationship, and brotherly and friendly feelings, trying to present the bumpy fate and spiritual secret history of a Chinese peasant father. It is precisely with this original intention in mind that in the specific writing process, I am eager to write a different father, a different father, and have a small ambition for the reader to glimpse the shadow of his father or his father. I'm also eager to create a different kind of prose and make some bold experiments in style. This is my fifth book, but in a sense, I prefer to think of him as my first.
Xiang Xun, born in 1984 in Western Hubei, China, currently lives in Jiangnan. He is a member of the Chinese Writers Association. Three-three "Russian Matryoshka Doll"

Russian Matryoshka dolls is my second collection of novels, eight years after the publication of the last novel collection, The Departure from the Soul. Accumulation, waiting, this process or many are careless, but in the moment of looking back, the emotion becomes clear. "Russian Matryoshka Doll" contains twelve novels, each of which takes place in one month and begins with my birthday in July. The novels included in it were written between 2014 and 2017, when I was working at a law firm, with a lot of chores, and the moments of writing were like breathing deep breaths between alternating dives. Therefore, the English translation of "Russian Tower" on the cover of "Russian Matryoshka Doll" is not just a harmonic terrier. "Tower" means that these novels, which understand the logic of the cycle from the foundations of everyday life, should try to point to the sky. In mathematics, when we know a loop of numbers, we see the repetition as a mere copy; but when dealing with life, the writer has to follow the loop deeper to be satisfied, and interesting stories to happen.
Sansan, born in 1991, graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law, intellectual property lawyer. He is currently studying Creative Writing at Chinese University. Xiu Xinyu "Strange Girl"

In this novel, I tried a small narrative trick, and only by the end of the chapter would the reader be exposed to the "last piece of the puzzle", and then re-understand the hints and find a story that was very different from the previous one. Because of this, it is difficult to recommend it without revealing the mystery. It may be considered a "futuristic realist" work. The protagonists of the story are a young couple (and their families) who are trying to conceive, so there is a lot of space devoted to the cost of childbearing. In fact, it is also a discussion of "self-right": how strong our desire for self-replication (procreation, cloning, etc.) is, and how much we are willing to pay for it; and how all these "copies of the self" should be confronted or connected.
Xiu Xinyu, born in 1993 in Qingdao, Shandong, graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Tsinghua University and is a member of the Chinese Writers Association. His works have appeared in Shanghai Literature, Tianya, Huacheng, Furong and other periodicals. Six or seven years ago, I accidentally got the core of this novel, and I have been keeping it in my heart, not knowing how to transform and deal with it. After many years, the novel began to emerge outward, and from time to time, it flashed on the surface of a vast expanse of water. The process of conceiving and writing is not only to find structure, language and characters, but also to find emotions, and the emotions that are surging under the water surface are probably a work with a sense of humanity and emotional depth. At least I like this short story, I cherish it.

Zou Xianzhong's "Golden Yellow Everywhere"

Coming to Shenzhen for more than ten years, the childhood memories of my hometown Yancheng, the grass and trees have never been forgotten, they are a moving song, from time to time resounding in my mind. To this end, I wrote a number of prose works with rural themes, I did not beautify the countryside into a paradise, more often, I wrote about the ugliness and backwardness of the countryside. Hometown is always a place that writers need to reach, a way back, a place to come, or a place where dreams must pass. Zhang Xiang "Dusk Bird"

After being published in Shanghai Literature in March 2021, "Dusk Bird" was invited to translate by the Japan Society for the Study of Contemporary Chinese Literature.

Lengjiang "Old Estuary"

"Old Estuary" is a relatively long essay I created in 2021, with a full text of more than 13,600 words, and won the 30th Sun Li Prose Award at the end of the year after the publication of the Selected Essays (Original Edition). This essay is different from the cultural essays I have created before, "Xishan Manji" and "Chizhou Idle Pen", no longer focusing on the traceability of ideas in the sense of cultural geography, but using the structure of the novel and the usual technique of writing characters and stories in the novel to write prose, similar to non-fiction, but it is indeed a long narrative prose. The advantage of this kind of writing is that it can fully expand the time and space in which the characters live, focus on the survival dilemma of small people and the breakthrough of grassroots human nature, and more penetratingly show the fate of people in one or several eras. There is the awakening of the underlying humanity generalized by life itself, and there are also spiritual portraits of the nation under the reflection of historical and geographical coordinates. The two main lines in the text represent the road to human breakthrough under the dualistic conflict between urban and rural areas. One is the breakthrough of the six sons from the countryside to the city, and the other is the breakthrough of "I" from chaos to clarity. Two main lines, both characters without exception choose the "Old River Mouth", a thousand-year-old town in the Wanzhong Mountains, as the background, and the quiet Qiupu River rushes endlessly, flowing to the Yangtze River and the sea. The ancient town has been lost in time, and the ancient town has also been reborn in time. This non-fictional long narrative essay is a new challenge for me between the two different genres of fiction and prose, and a new balance between character and human nature.
Leng Jiang, a native of Chizhou, Anhui Province, is currently working and settled in Beijing, a member of the Beijing Writers Association, and a student of the fourth batch of grassroots writers class of Lao She Literature College. Wang Xuan's "The Last Village"

Published in June 2021 by Jiangsu Phoenix Literature and Art Publishing House, The Last Village uses 28 stories to tell the story of a small village called Maicun in the West Qinling Mountains, from the 1980s and 1990s to the first decade of the 21st century, when families gradually disappeared from the village. At the same time, 39 rural group sentient beings are also depicted. In Mai Village, these twenty or so families, either due to relocation, or due to accidents, or due to illness, or because of disappearance, etc., finally spread on the earth in different ways, becoming a memory, all nostalgic. This book seems to be independent, but it is complete and unified, with a short structure and a long history. Although it only writes the daily life and dusk of an ordinary village, it is a cross-section and a history of thousands of villages on the land of China. After the book was published, it was selected into the Phoenix Literature and Art Top Ten Good Books, Literary Good Book List and other lists, and was recommended by CCTV's "Reading" column.

Wu Hongzhen "River Bend"

"RiverBend" tells the story of "I" and three classmates on their junior high school graduation trip, during which they accidentally discover that the male classmate I like is an abandoned baby. He knows his origins, but hides this secret and makes up lies to everyone. But "I" learned more cruel truths from his grandfather than that, and fell into doubts about his life. The novel takes place on the right bank of my fictional land, the Great Bay River, and is also a more important part of a series. The novel uses realistic and surreal techniques, combines history and the present, thinks about identity and memory, conducts some reflections on "family planning", and makes an exploration and interpretation of life.

Yang Yonglei "I am in the dark"

I knew it would take a lot of courage to write this novel, but I had to write it. This is tantamount to unveiling my own scars and exposing them to everyone—a problem that has plagued me for more than ten years, that seems too small to be small in the eyes of others, that it cannot be too big in my opinion, a memorable memory that is the most painful, the most painful, the most painful, the most anxious, the most embarrassing, the most secret and the most helpless. I've tried a lot and decided to use dialogue — in front of a particular person, we tend to open our hearts and tell each other our true feelings without reservation. I am obsessed with unhurried, intricate and even muttering, so that the two people in this novel just tell their own stories calmly, not only without any sorrow and lamentation, but with a hint of playfulness and humor lurking in the calm. Fiction is the art of fiction, and although a large number of bridges are fictionalized, the "hidden corners" deep inside are open enough. I like the format, the rhythm and the subject matter.
Yang Yonglei was born in 1988 in Pingdingshan, Henan Province, and lives in Beijing. He graduated from Jilin University with a master's degree in literature and is a member of the Henan Writers Association. Ge Xiaoming's "Knife and Pen"

The inspiration for "Knife and Pen" came from my conversation with my little niece at the stationery shop opposite the school, and we casually talked about how to write a junior high school essay. Without even thinking about it, I pointed to the various pens on the shelves and the pencil knives on the side: these can become good images in the composition. She was somewhat incredulous, how could this be written into an article. So I made an agreement with her to write an essay about the knife and pen. From a branch to a tree, from a tree to a forest, from the birth of a pencil to being bought to meet the most important character in life, the knife. This is a process of continuous breakthrough and self-destruction, the daily life of the knife and the pen, but also the daily life of people. From things to people, I have to mention the small people who struggle to survive in the system, they are small officials with knives and pens, and they are also cautious people in the world.

It was the waxing moon two years ago, I was like a "prisoner bird" with broken wings, today repeating tomorrow, never surprising life like a big cage, my soul is tightly surrounded by an indescribable nothingness, I can't wait to blow the wind in the distance, to see the moon in a foreign land, so there is this short trip. Over the years, I have run through many places alone, I have experienced getting lost, riding in the wrong car, being followed by people, but the experience of staying alone in a small mountain building has never been. The article may be a little exaggerated, and the details are somewhat fictional, but the emotions are incomparably real, and the "trunk" of the article is basically real. Hostels, hostesses, painters, 7 square meters of dilapidated small rooms without sound insulation, inferior thin quilts, leaky windows, unisex bathrooms, noisy nightlife in hostels, and even the shiny black fat cat are all real. After returning from Zhenjiang, the strange night of the small mountain tower appeared in my mind again and again. From staying in the hill house to falling asleep, it was only five or six hours. How do you write an essay about what you've seen, heard, thought, and thought for five or six hours? I feel that the thousand-word text is a waste of material, can not be too detailed description and portrayal, too long and afraid that the content is not full enough, when I write, even I do not know what I can write, how many words can be written. From the excitement of seeing the small mountain building to the initial disappointment, and then from the disappointment to the thought of fleeing, I used a lot of details and psychological descriptions to peel back the cocoon and advance layer by layer. This article is not a travelogue in the traditional sense, what I want to express is nothing more than the powerlessness of people trapped in some kind of predicament.
