Recently, the Department of Economic Construction of the Ministry of Finance issued the "Notice on the Financial Subsidy Policy for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in 2022", which pointed out that the subsidy standard for the purchase of new energy vehicles in 2022 will be reduced by 30% on the basis of 2021;

New energy vehicles in the public sector, urban buses, road passenger transport, taxis (including online ride-hailing), sanitation, urban logistics and distribution, postal express delivery, civil aviation airports and new energy vehicles in the field of public service of party and government organs, the subsidy standard in 2022 will be reduced by 20% on the basis of 2021.

Judging from the "new energy passenger car subsidy program" that has the greatest relationship with the public, the subsidy grade is divided by the mileage of the vehicle, and the NEDC models with a range of less than 300 kilometers do not enjoy subsidies as last year.

The endurance is between 300 km and 400 km, and the bicycle subsidy limit is 0.91 million yuan; the cruising range is ≥ 400 km, and the bicycle subsidy limit is 12,600 yuan. However, the final subsidy amount of pure electric vehicles also has a subsidy ceiling * battery system energy density adjustment coefficient and vehicle energy consumption adjustment coefficient.

Plug-in hybrid vehicles require pure electric endurance NEDC of more than 50 kilometers, and the amount of bicycle subsidies is 0.48 million yuan. Moreover, the two new energy models require the price of bicycles to be within 300,000 yuan, and the replacement models, such as Weilai Automobile, are not subject to the restriction of 300,000 yuan.

It is worth noting that the subsidy policy for the purchase of new energy vehicles in 2022 was terminated on December 31, 2022, and vehicles licensed after December 31, 2022 will no longer be subsidized.

This means that next year, the new energy vehicle promotion subsidy policy that has been implemented in China for more than 10 years will be completely terminated next year, when the new energy vehicles in the Chinese market will also compete with "real knives and guns".
