IT House News on January 7, Tesla recently updated the model 3 and Model Y online owner manual, suggesting that these two models are likely to be upgraded soon. The update shows that the temperature control section of the Model 3 and Model Y owner's manual now mentions ventilated seats, and the document now states that the vehicle's seats have heating and cooling functions.

The documents show that the ventilated seats of the Model 3 and Model Y will have a dedicated button next to the seat heating function.

When the Tesla Model 3 was first launched, the car did not have a rear seat heating function, which was later officially activated through an OTA update. Of course, the seat ventilation function needs to be supported by relevant hardware, and Tesla needs to update the hardware if it wants to provide this function.

IT House understands that only Tesla Model S sedans and Model X SUVs currently offer seat ventilation, which the Model 3 and Model Y do not support, but Tesla does have a history of introducing some of the features of its flagship models to lower-end models, such as the Biochemical Weapons Defense mode, which was previously an exclusive feature of model S and Model X, which allowed vehicles to maintain hospital-grade fresh air in the carriage before being delegated to the Model Y.
