Recently, Alpha Romeo (Shanghai) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Effective January 11, 2022, the company will recall some imported 2021 Giulia and Stelvio models totaling 263 units.

The reason for the recall is that the fuel pressure sensor joint of the vehicle's low-pressure fuel line has a certain proportion of holes in the internal pipe wall of the joint due to material forming process problems, and these pores will crack under stress. During the operation of the vehicle, it may cause the inner cavity of the fuel pipe joint to crack, causing the fuel to leak from the pressure sensor, and if it encounters an external open flame, there will be a risk of fire, which is a safety hazard. Alfa Romeo (Shanghai) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the vehicle with an improved low-pressure fuel tube (with fuel pressure sensor) free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
When it comes to Alpha Romeo, most people's first reaction is to control well, but in the domestic automobile market, most consumers do not pay attention to handling, they pay more attention to quality reliability and comfort, and Alpha Romeo's models do not meet the needs of Chinese consumers to buy cars, and its quality reliability is indeed average, so its decline in the domestic market is inevitable.
