Sun Wukong actually didn't believe it, not to mention that she was so familiar with herself, and with her vast mana alone, she couldn't even distinguish a six-eared macaque.
However, Guanyin Bodhisattva insisted that he could not distinguish between true and false Goku, and also suggested to Sun Wukong: "When you were an official who worshiped Ma Wen and made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace, the gods would recognize you, and you would go to the upper realm to distinguish between the words." ”
Having said all this, Sun Wukong had no choice but to bid farewell to Guanyin Bodhisattva and go to the Heavenly Court to distinguish between true and false.
In fact, there is an obvious contradiction in Guanyin Bodhisattva's remarks.

The truth is likely that this is just a statement that she sent Sun Wukong to the Heavenly Court. Therefore, guanyin bodhisattva's so-called inability to distinguish between true and false Goku is actually very questionable.

The so-called wise eye, the journey to the west world is set as the omniscient eye. Those who master the wise eye can "know before and after", that is, to understand the history and predict the future, five hundred years before, five hundred years after, such as with the wisdom of the eye, to see through the past of the six-eared macaque, the truth and false nature at a glance.
And Guanyin Bodhisattva obviously has the wisdom to see.
What did Sun Wukong say when he asked guanyin bodhisattva for help? Sun Wukong said, "Bodhisattva, this house really looks like a disciple." Only from the water curtain hole to fight, the battle for a long time, regardless of victory or defeat. I fought with this to the treasure mountain, borrowed the wisdom of the bodhisattva, and confessed the truth and falsehood with my disciples, and distinguished between evil and right. ”
Since the wise eye can distinguish between true and false Goku, how can the Guanyin Bodhisattva who has mastered the wisdom eye not be able to distinguish between true and false?
Therefore, Guanyin Bodhisattva's so-called inability to distinguish between true and false Goku is not true and cannot, but pretends not to be able to, so why should she do this?
In fact, the reason is very simple, from the words heard by the Divine Beast, you can see the clues.
Sun Wukong once asked the Bodhisattva of the King of Jizo for help to distinguish between true and false, and the Bodhisattva of the King of Jizo asked him to listen and discern. However, after observing it, he said to the Bodhisattva, the King of Jizo, "Although there is a strange name, it must not be broken in front of your face, nor can it help him." ”
Why can't you debunk the six-eared macaque? The Bodhisattva, the King of Jizo, thought about it for a moment and immediately understood, so he said to Sun Wukong, "You must go to the Lei Yin Temple to come there, and you must understand." ”
Apparently, the six-eared macaque is most likely a rulai person. This difficulty is entirely planned by Rulai, and the purpose of Rulai may be to replace the unruly Sun Wukong with the six-eared macaque, or it may simply test Sun Wukong.
But in any case, since this difficulty was planned by Rulai, of course, it could only be resolved by Rulai, so the hearing could not debunk the six-eared macaque. This must be the reason why Guanyin Bodhisattva pretended not to be able to distinguish between true and false Goku.
