Therefore, Kangxi put aside the matter of handwriting and mutiny, and began to deal with the internal contradictions among the princes, specifically, to crack down on those princes who coveted the position of crown prince.
Kangxi targeted two people, one was the eldest brother Yinchen who wanted to kill Yin Rong and "get rid of the worries of Qing Father", and the other was the Eighth Brother Yin, who tried to interrogate Xiao Guoxing, and was scolded by Kangxi for "his heart is reprehensible".
