On January 5, Henan added 64 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 9 cases of local asymptomatic infection

According to the WeChat public account of the Henan Provincial Health Commission on January 6, at 0-24:00 on January 5, 64 new local confirmed cases in Henan Province (5 cases in Zhengzhou City, 4 cases in Luoyang City, 50 cases in Xuchang City, 3 cases in Zhoukou City, 1 case each in Xinyang City and Shangqiu City; including 30 cases of asymptomatic infected people turned into confirmed cases, including 3 cases in Zhengzhou City, 20 cases in Xuchang City, 4 cases in Luoyang City, 3 cases in Zhoukou City); 9 new cases of local asymptomatic infection (8 cases in Zhengzhou City, 1 case in Xinyang City) There was a new confirmed case of an asymptomatic infected person imported from abroad; no new suspected case; and 1 locally confirmed case was cured and discharged from hospital.

From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on January 5, 2022, the province has reported a cumulative total of 1,719 confirmed cases (1,588 local cases and 131 imported cases), and 98 existing hospitalized cases (90 cases in china and 8 cases imported from abroad). There are 28 asymptomatic infected patients under medical observation (22 local cases and 6 cases imported from abroad). A total of 50,825 close contacts have been traced, and 1,678 close contacts are under observation.
