Henan On January 5, 64 new cases of local confirmed cases and 9 cases of local asymptomatic infection were confirmed

At 0-24:00 on January 5, there were 64 new local confirmed cases in Henan Province (5 cases in Zhengzhou City, 4 cases in Luoyang City, 50 cases in Xuchang City, 3 cases in Zhoukou City, 1 case in Xinyang City and 1 case in Shangqiu City; including 30 cases of asymptomatic infected people transferred to confirmed cases, including 3 cases in Zhengzhou City, 20 cases in Xuchang City, 4 cases in Luoyang City, and 3 cases in Zhoukou City); 9 new cases of local asymptomatic infection (8 cases in Zhengzhou City and 1 case in Xinyang City); 1 new case of transfigured cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad; and no new suspected cases 1 locally confirmed case was cured and discharged from hospital.

From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on January 5, 2022, Henan Province has reported a cumulative total of 1,719 confirmed cases (1,588 local cases and 131 cases imported from abroad), and 98 existing hospitalized cases (90 cases in china and 8 cases imported from abroad). There are 28 asymptomatic infected patients under medical observation (22 local cases and 6 cases imported from abroad). A total of 50,825 close contacts have been traced, and 1,678 close contacts are under observation.
