However, there was already a clear rift between the Eight Brothers yinyu and the fourteen brothers who originally belonged to the same political group, and in order not to let the fourteen brothers "please" Kangxi succeed, the eight brothers Yinyu and others replaced the original meteorite birthday gift with a dead eagle.
When the Kangxi Emperor saw such a "birthday gift", he was greatly stimulated, and what made him even more sad was that the competition between the princes for the throne was already disregarding the morality of the people and had no loyalty and filial piety etiquette, so he was angry and attacked his heart, and directly fainted at the scene of the birthday banquet. However, during the "Nine Sons and Concubines" in the later years of the Kangxi Dynasty, there was indeed a so-called "eagle shooting incident".
However, in the Yongzheng Dynasty, the Eight Brothers Yinyu were the important planners and executors of the whole thing, in order to combat the FourteenTh Brothers Yinyu and the Kangxi Emperor himself, while the "Eagle Shooting Incident" in history, the Eight Brothers Yinyu became the most direct and tragic victims without knowing it.
It was also this "eagle shooting incident" that became the "last straw" that crushed the "dream of the prince" of the Eight Brothers, making him completely out of the "Nine Sons and Concubines" and no longer able to touch the throne.
The occurrence of the "Eagle Shooting Incident" made the Eight Brothers completely disgusted by the Kangxi Emperor.
In the fifty-third year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1714), the Kangxi Emperor received a gift during the Rehe Autumn Festival, but after the Kangxi Emperor opened it, he was shocked and instantly angry.
The reason why the Kangxi Emperor reacted so excitedly was because he received this gift, two dying Hai Dongqing.
In the traditional shamanic teachings of the Manchurians, Hai Dongqing is the highest totemic being, with many extremely sacred meanings such as "the god of ten thousand eagles", "the messenger of God", "the closest being to God", "the chosen people of God" and so on.
If two healthy and majestic Hai Dongqing were given to Kangxi, it would be a compliment to Kangxi, but the use of "killing eagles" as a gift was undoubtedly a deep curse on the Kangxi Emperor, the supreme ruler of the Qing Dynasty.
And it was no one else who offered these two "killing eagles" to Kangxi, but precisely his son, who was serving the funeral of his birth mother Liang Concubine Wei in Beijing at this time.
Therefore, Kangxi immediately asked Yin Yu to rush to his palace. He not only scolded Yin Yu as a "unkind, unjust, disloyal, and filial piety" generation, but also publicly announced that "from now on, Yin Yu and Yin Yu, the grace of father and son is extinct", and even Yin Yu's deceased mother Wei Shi was angered by the Kangxi Emperor and denounced as a "Xinzhiku slut".

Kangxi's anger was not only directed at the "eagle shooting incident", but was a concentrated manifestation of long-standing dissatisfaction with Yin Yu.

In the forty-seventh year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1708), the Kangxi Emperor deposed Yin Rong's crown prince for the first time on the grounds that "the prince was not good and did not filial piety", and also deposed Yin Rong from the post of acting in charge of the affairs of the Internal Affairs Office.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs was the organ in charge of the affairs of the imperial court in the Qing Dynasty, and all the food, clothing, and living in the imperial palace were under its jurisdiction, and its status was extremely important, so the general manager of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the officials acting in charge of the affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were generally served by the emperor's cronies. Two years later, in the fifty-third year of Kangxi (1714), the "Eagle Shooting Incident" occurred, and Kangxi could be said to have exploded all his previous anger against Yin Yu, in addition to reprimanding him as "born of a lowly woman from Xinzhiku" and "from now on, Yin Yu and Yin Yu, the grace of father and son is absolutely unsatisfactory", and also ordered yin Yu to stop Yin Yu's yin lu rice and let him fend for himself.
Although the Kangxi Emperor later removed the punishment for Yin Yu and retained his title of Baylor, Yin Yu no longer had the possibility of ascending to the throne, and thus completely eliminated from the battle for the throne.
