Kangxi assigned him important tasks many times, and he successfully completed them, and the hundred officials of the DPRK and China also admired him. In contrast, Yin Rong, who was made crown prince, although he had unique advantages, he did things without virtue, and gradually disappointed Kangxi.
At the same time, Kangxi also made the rest of the crown princes and officials, allowing them all to participate in political affairs and play a role. In the 47th year of Kangxi, Yin Zhen and other princes accused the prince of multiple ill intentions, which caused Kangxi to be jealous of the prince, and in the same year the prince was abolished for the first time, which made other princes start to stir, Yin Zhen in particular.
During the period when the crown prince was deposed and imprisoned, Kangxi recruited a heavy minister to recommend a suitable candidate for the new crown prince, and Yin Zhen secretly colluded with the people to elect him, while complaining to Kangxi, saying that Yin Rong had bad intentions and should be killed. After hearing this, Kangxi felt that he did not think of brotherhood and was fierce, and his cold-blooded ruthlessness aroused Kangxi's disgust, and he had to say that he lifted a stone and dropped it on his own feet.
Kangxi had no good feelings for Yin Zhen, let alone reused him, Yin Zhen began to curse the prince in anger, and the rest of the brothers were not idle, and directly complained to Kangxi, who was completely disappointed in him and ordered him to be cut and imprisoned. He was grounded in his own house, strengthened the height of the courtyard wall, guarded by special guards, and sent food and drink every day, and he lived like a pig.
Year after year of secluded life, his fighting spirit gradually faded, there is no longer a "comeback" of the mind, idle, he in order to pass the time, began to indulge in wives and concubines, the harvest is not small, from the grounding to his death, 26 years he gave birth to 20 children, daughters from the sixth daughter to the fourteenth daughter, are born during this period, a total of 9. There are more sons, starting from the fifth son to the twelfth son, a total of 11, so that Kangxi has 20 more grandchildren, which can also be regarded as a branch for the royal family. In 1734, he ended this enviable and desperate life at the age of 63.
