On January 5th, Huangshan Postal Branch held a special stamp issuance ceremony for the "Year of Nongyin" in Tunxi. A set of 2 special stamps of "The Year of Nongyin" is issued by China Post, and the names of the stamp designs are Guoyun Changlong and Huyun Auspicious, and the face value of the full set of stamps is 2.40 yuan.
2022 is the year of the lunar calendar, the year of the tiger in the zodiac year. The tiger is known as the "king of the beasts" and is a symbol of bravery and strength. In ancient times, there were tiger charms that used to dispatch troops, and there were also sayings of "tiger generals", "tiger soldiers", "tiger steps" and "tigers", all of which contain the reputation of might and glory. Folk regard the tiger as a beast that helps to drive away evil spirits and bless tranquility, from the custom of painting tigers at the door to the cute cloth tigers, the colorful tiger culture has penetrated into people's lives. In the cultural complex of chonghu and love of tigers, the spirit of Chinese striving to be strong and the wish for auspicious peace are condensed.
The seventh set of the fourth round of Chinese zodiac stamps was created by the famous painter Mr. Feng Dazhong. Feng Dazhong, a national first-class artist, is famous for his works of art, especially painting tigers.
The image of the tiger in the special stamp of "The Year of Nongyin" starts from the "real", obtains the nature of the tiger, and carefully interprets the beauty of the tiger. The stamps continue the design concept of the fourth round of zodiac stamps, interpreting the concepts of "country" and "home". The first picture, "National Fortune Changlong", depicts the image of a majestic tiger on the mountain, standing tall and ambitious, conveying the meaning of the country's prosperity and ambition; the second picture, "Tiger Yun auspicious", depicts the warm scene of a gentle tiger mother with two small tigers, implying the prosperity of children and grandchildren and a happy family.
The ceremony also showcased the works of the city's primary and secondary school zodiac stamp design competition.
