IT House January 5 news, Samsung at CES 2022 launched a portable projector called Freestyle, with a peculiar barrel shape, this 1080p projector began pre-order today, the price of 899 US dollars (about 5726 yuan).
More important than the spec sheet, according to Samsung, the Freestyle projector is highly portable, has a unique rotating housing that can rotate 180 degrees, and integrates speakers and voice control. The swivel design allows it to be projected on walls and ceilings without the need to be supported by other objects.
The 0.83 kg projector is capable of producing 30 to 100 inches of autofocus and auto-leveled images (brightness unknown), and the translucent lens cover can be used to create "dynamic illumination" that can be synchronized with the audio being played. It also features speakers with a 360-degree soundstage, and a far-field microphone array for voice control that can be switched by a switch, as well as an HDMI and a USB-C interface.
IT House understands that optional accessories for the projector include a waterproof case, USB-C battery pack and a base that screws the projector to a standard E26 lamp socket to power it.
Samsung said pre-orders for the projector will open in the U.S. on Jan. 4 and will enter other markets "in the coming months."
