However, in the Republic of China, there were a group of gangsters who pursued "thieves and ways" and pursued "the great hero, for the country and the people", and never betrayed their conscience for the sake of interests.
Zhang Renkui is a big character of the Qinggang. In his youth, he joined the Qing army in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province, and Later Zhang declared independence in Nantong in the name of the commander-in-chief of Tongzhou.
After the Xinhai Revolution, the Beiyang government appointed Zhang Renkui as an envoy to Tonghai Town, stationed in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and awarded him the rank of general of the army.

In 1936, chiang kai-shek learned from the secret report of the military commander that Han Fuqu, chairman of the Shandong provincial government, had colluded with the Japanese and wanted to rebel, and although Chiang Kai-shek had long seen that Han Fuyu was not happy, he really could not open his hands: the three northeastern provinces had been lost, and the five provinces in northern China were "autonomous." If they quarreled with Han Fuyu, there would undoubtedly be more trouble.
A staff officer reminded Chiang Kai-shek that it would be better to ask Mrs. Zhang to come forward.
Chiang Kai-shek was suddenly enlightened, and immediately sent a telegram to Shanghai Mayor Wu Tiecheng to find Zhang Renkui and send a special train to Shanghai to pick him up.
The four division commanders under Han Fuyu were all disciples of Zhang Renkui, who had an early entry time and had great respect for Zhang, and after listening to master's analysis, they also felt that Han Fuyu would be difficult to accomplish.

Han Fuqu had not yet formally started, and his subordinate generals had lost confidence and had to stop.
The merits of Zhang Renkui's trip to Shandong have always been very grateful to Chiang Kai-shek.
Zhang Renkui was also a martial artist when he was young, and was famous for his single-knife martial arts, Jianghuai, who broke into dozens of goons and grabbed the knife with his bare hands to rescue his comrades who were surrounded and beaten by them.
Although Zhang is over eighty years old, but the hero's true color is not reduced, he picked up a large knife and calmly faced the Japanese yano with a sword, and only two rounds to decide the difference.
Zhang Renkui did not want to really hurt this little Japanese, so he used the handle of the sword to continuously click on the acupuncture points on Yano's wrist, forcing the other party to abandon the sword and return home in defeat.
After this, the Japanese side was not satisfied, and a group of ronin people came one after another, threatening and luring Zhang, but Zhang was not moved, but he was old, angry, and sick, and died on December 24, 1944 in Fanyuan, Shanghai.
In the spring of the following year, more than a thousand people from all walks of life, party, government, military, business, and academia in the capital held a memorial ceremony, and Chiang Kai-shek personally inscribed the inscription "Haidai Shuowang" with the honor of the chairman. On October 20 of the same year, the Nationalist government explicitly praised Zhang Renkui and "showed loyalty and righteousness."
