On January 4, the Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX concept car ushered in the world premiere. With cutting-edge powertrain, lightweight engineering technology and a large number of recyclable materials, the VISION EQXX concept car comprehensively breaks through technical barriers, reduces the drag coefficient to 0.17, and has a range of more than 1,000 kilometers on a single charge; at the same time, the model is developed by software, a large number of lightweight technologies and sustainable materials are applied to the whole vehicle, and the forward-looking use of human brain bionic technology shows Mercedes-Benz's determination to accelerate towards a sustainable and software-driven future and accelerate the electrification process.

Kang Linsong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG, said: "The VISION EQXX Concept car perfectly illustrates our vision for the future of electric vehicles. The project, which started just 18 months ago, is the most energy-efficient model ever made by Mercedes-Benz: with less than 10 kWh of energy per 100 km/ h and a range of more than 1,000 km on a single charge, the VISION EQXX concept is an advanced electric vehicle from any point of view. Its futuristic shape is breathtaking, underscoring the company's vision to build the world's most popular electric car. ”
Using advanced digital modeling techniques for interdisciplinary R&D, the design and development team gave the VISION EQXX Concept an ultra-smooth design, combined with tires with ultra-low rolling resistance and aerodynamic optimization, giving it a drag coefficient as low as 0.17.
Thanks to the new electric drive system developed in-house, the VISION EQXX concept car realizes the efficient use of energy, and its lightweight and efficient electric drivetrain transmits up to 95% of the battery energy directly to the wheels.
Mercedes-AMG HPP has developed a new battery pack specifically for the VISION EQXX concept car, achieving an energy density of close to 400 Wh/L through an anodized chemical processes and a highly integrated battery pack, with a battery volume close to 100 kWh being only 50% of the new EQS and a 30% lighter weight.
Thanks to this, the VISION EQXX concept car consumes less than 10 kWh of energy per 100 km, and has a range of more than 1,000 km per charge after digital simulation of real road conditions, covering more range with less energy consumption.
The VISION EQXX Concept adopts an eye-catching Alubeam silver exterior, with a roof that resembles a sleek greenhouse dome that gracefully flows to the rear like water droplets. When retractable rear diffusers are folded away, they blend seamlessly into the bodywork, guaranteeing balance, proportion and lightweight aesthetics at the rear.
In the interior, the VISION EQXX Concept car uses high-performance biotechnology materials, the door handles are made of biodegradable pure plant silk, the seats are made of cactus raw material and mycelium, and its carpet is woven with 100% bamboo fiber.
In addition, the VISION EQXX Concept is powered by the brand's first fully seamless 47.5-inch slim all-in-one screen, introducing a game engine and a fully optimized user interface. The R&D team has jointly developed the first 3D real-time navigation system compatible with this size of screen, which can enlarge the satellite picture to a height of 10 meters in the 3D city view, outlining a new world of digital luxury.
