(Movie "Wolf Trap")

In November 1941, more than 50,000 Japanese puppet troops opened a large net and carried out a large "sweep" of the Yimeng Mountains, the headquarters of the 115th Division and the Shandong Branch were surrounded, and Luo Ronghuan, the political commissar of the 115th Division, called an emergency meeting and decided to break through to the southwest.

Luo Ronghuan attaches great importance to topographic research, he is a native of Hunan, only two years ago led his troops to Shandong, but for Yimeng Mountain, it is already as familiar as his hometown, even where there is a pass, where can pass through the artillery vehicle, very clear. Before the "great purge" in Luzhong began, he specially instructed all staff officers and cadres at and above the company level of the 115th Division to thoroughly understand the terrain of Mount Yimeng, and for this reason the division headquarters also organized a "staff tour group" with its own name. The "tour group" climbed every mountain in the Yimeng Mountains, crossed every pass, waded through every river, and at the end of the "tour," Luo Ronghuan gathered the members of the "tour group" again, compared them with the map, and listened to their detailed reports. Through "travel," the staff officers and cadres of the 115th Division were more familiar with Mount Yimeng, and Luo Ronghuan also fully grasped the terrain of Mount Yimeng.

Mastering the terrain is extremely important for anti-"sweeping". After the troops set out, they crossed the mountain every time they crossed the mountain, encountered water, and secretly passed through a gap of more than three miles southeast of Liutian. This is a main line for the enemy to enter from east to west, and it is also the first blockade line, and soon after the enemy has passed, they can still hear their people shouting horses, and even the boiling water that the enemy boiled in the village is still boiling hot, and everyone is just thirsty, so they scoop up the teapot and drink while hurrying.

Then, in a gap of five miles, the troops crossed the enemy's second blockade line. After nightfall, the enemy set off a pile of fire on the hills around Liutian, and there were enemy patrols next to the fire, and every ten minutes, these patrols fired green signal flares to show that the Eighth Route Army had not been found. After mastering this law, the scouts of the division's reconnaissance company took a dagger and went forward to kill the patrolmen without a sound, and then put on the yellow coat of the Japanese army and performed the duties of "patrolling soldiers".

The third blockade line is the Linmeng Highway (Linyi to Mengyin). The Linmeng Highway was the main line of communication for the enemy's current "sweep," and a large number of the enemy's cars had just driven along the highway from south to north, and the troops took the opportunity to cross it. After crossing the Linmeng Highway, it entered the rear of the enemy, as previously judged, the enemy's strength was empty, the guard was not strict, but it was suitable for breaking through the siege.

At dawn on November 6, 1941, the troops did not spend a single shot or a single casualty, and successfully drilled out of the "iron wall" and safely reached the vicinity of Wanggou in Fei County, resting and waiting for orders, while the enemy who was encircled was still driving in the direction of Liutian.

Hans Heber, a German journalist and Communist Party member who was interviewed by the army, participated in the Ryutian Breakout, and he excitedly said: "This night is the most unforgettable night in my life." Heber immediately sat down on a large rock, typed on his legs as a table, and wrote a famous press release entitled "Silent Battle", which praised the Ruda breakthrough: The command of this breakthrough is magical!
