To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Apple launched a special edition of AirPods Pro
Created a cute tiger emoji, engraved on airPods Pro
It also comes with 12 envelopes with zodiac motifs
Apple will write out special products every time you look at the Lunar New Year. Just as Apple celebrates the Year of the Ox in 2021, Apple released a pair of new special edition AirPods Pros, available only in select markets.
2022 is the Year of the Tiger, and Apple has created a cute tiger emoji engraved on these AirPods Pro. As with last year, the company also introduced a special Apple logo to celebrate the New Year.
Special Edition Tiger AirPods Pro is priced at the same price as regular AirPods Pro at various markets celebrating the Lunar New Year. In Hong Kong, for example, tiger AirPods Pro is priced at HK$1,999 like the standard AirPods Pro. They can be picked up at Apple retail stores or ordered online.
Apple's Tiger AirPods case uses the latest MagSafe technology, so like the new third-generation AirPods, it snaps directly into the magnetic MagSafe charger.
Apple also offered customers who purchased these AirPods Pro a set of 12 envelopes containing emoji versions of each Chinese zodiac sign. You can also see some out-of-the-box photos of the special edition AirPods Pro.
Last week, Apple also launched a special edition of AirTag to celebrate the Japanese New Year with a slightly different tiger emoji carving.
