Emperor Huizong of Song (1082–1135) was the eighth emperor of the Song Dynasty, the eleventh son of Emperor Shenzong of Song and the younger brother of Emperor Zhezong of Song.
Song Zhezong died childless at the age of 24, and after his death, the chancellor Zhang Wei originally wanted To make Song Zhezong and his brother Zhao Xiang the Prince of Jian the Emperor. After all, this bloodline is closer, and it is legally qualified to inherit the throne.

At the end of the leap year of jing kang (1126), the Jin soldiers once again went south. On December 15, the Jin army attacked Beijing, and Emperor Jin deposed Emperor Huizong of Song and Emperor Zhao Heng of Qinzong as Shuren. At the end of March of the second year of Jing Kang (1127), the Jin Emperor Hui and the Second Emperor of Qin, together with their concubines and clan chambers, hundreds of officials and thousands of people, were captured in the Jin Kingdom, which is known in history as the "Shame of Jing Kang".
Emperor Huizong of Song and his son were both taken prisoner. Those who are taken prisoners, no matter what dynasty, will certainly have a bad life.
It is said that during their captivity, especially when they were escorted to the capital of the Golden Kingdom, more than a thousand people were connected by ropes to hurry.
The purpose of this is to fear that someone will come to their rescue. In the process of hurrying, the Jinguo soldiers were happy, so they gave them some food and water to drink, and they were not happy that there was nothing.
One of Emperor Huizong's sons was also starved to death on the road. Emperor Huizong of Song knew that after the death of this son, he was still very envious, and said to his son that you had died in the land of the Song Dynasty, and your father did not know where he died?
The treatment of the crown prince is like this, not to mention other people. Princesses are even more difficult, because they all look like flowers and jade, and it is impossible for the soldiers of the Golden Kingdom to be gentle with them.
Even after they arrived in the Golden Kingdom, they were insulted.

After arriving at the capital of the Jin Dynasty, Emperor Huizong of Song was ordered to wear mourning clothes with Zhao Huan, Emperor Qinzong of Song, to see the temple where Jin Taizu finished Yan Akuta, which means that Emperor Jin offered a prisoner to Taizu. Subsequently, Emperor Huizong of Song was humiliated by Emperor Jin and made the Duke of Xiade, imprisoned in Han Prefecture (present-day Changtu County, Liaoning Province), and later moved to WuguoCheng (present-day Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province) and imprisoned.
As the former emperor of the Great Song Dynasty, he wore mourning clothes to meet the ancestors of the enemy country and went to kneel for others. He was also given the title of Duke of Dude, which was simply a great shame.
However, in the face of such an insult, Song Huizong actually accepted it calmly, and did not have any backbone. Compared with the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Huizong of Song was really far behind.
The Son of Heaven guards the gate of the country, and the king dies in the community, this sentence has nothing to do with Emperor Huizong of Song.
Song Huizong also wrote poems complaining about how miserable his life was.
The westerly wind shook the door all night, and the depressed lonely house was faintly lit. Looking back at the three thousand miles of jiashan mountain, there were no geese flying in the south of the mountain.
To be able to live like this is caused by one's own incompetence, what is the use of complaining? Therefore, if the emperor becomes a prisoner, life will certainly be bad.
However, why was Emperor Huizong of Song still able to have more than a dozen children in the Jin Kingdom?
It can only be said that the Emperor of the Jin Dynasty was not bad to Emperor Huizong of Song, and after he arrived at the Five Kingdoms City, the Emperor gave him a piece of land and let him lead hundreds of captured ministers.
These ministers could cultivate land to feed him, and Emperor Huizong of Song did not have to work. In the eight years of the Five Kingdoms City, a total of four men and eight girls were born, a total of twelve children.

In July of the eighth year of the Jin Dynasty (the fourth year of Song Jianyan, 1130), the Jin Dynasty moved the Second Emperor to the Five Kingdoms City under house arrest. During his exile, Emperor Huizong was still good at writing poetry and reading the biography of Li Bi in the Tang Dynasty, and he was deeply touched.
Not only did he have children, but his love of reading did not fall at all, perhaps, this is the so-called confession of life. What is his fate?

In fact, Song Huizong was not like this, and he had no way. After all, he was reluctant to commit suicide, and since nothing could be changed in life, it was better to accept it calmly.
Some historical sources say that his concubine was insulted by the Jin soldiers and gave birth to children for the Jin soldiers. If nothing else, let's say that the only son of Emperor Huizong of Song who escaped, that is, the founder of the later Southern Song Dynasty, Emperor Gaozong of Song, Zhao Shuo, his mother Concubine Wei, gave birth to two children for jinguo.
You must know that Princess Wei's son is the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the emperor's face is not given to the Jinguo people, and see how crazy the Jinguo people are.
The fate of Emperor Huizong of Song's other concubines was even worse.
The daughter of Emperor Huizong of Song, who was favored by the Jin soldiers, married the Jin soldiers. The sons of Emperor Huizong of Song also died in the Jin Dynasty. The only person who returned alive was Princess Wei, the mother of Emperor Gaozong of Song. This was after the Southern Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty signed the Shaoxing Agreement.

Emperor Huizong of Song was imprisoned for nine years, and on April of the thirteenth year of the JinTianhui (5th year of Song Shaoxing, 1135), Emperor Huizong of Song finally died of mental torture at the age of 54.
After his death, he was also very miserable, there are historical records, after his death, he was boiled into oil by the Jin people to light a lamp, and even a whole corpse was not left, is it how miserable it is?
It is said that after the signing of the "Shaoxing Agreement", Emperor Gaozong of Song asked Zhao Shuo to return the bones of his father Song Huizong, and Song Huizong did not dare to open the coffin, because if there was nothing inside, it was the most humiliating thing. If you can't defeat jin guo, you can only choose humiliation and submission.
Therefore, when Emperor Huizong of Song was a prisoner, he gave birth to more than a dozen children, which does not mean that he lived faster, and he died after living for more than fifty years.
