Presidential cars generally use models under the country's own brands, which represents the development of national enterprises in the country and can also highlight the strength of the car industry. Aurus, a Russian luxury brand that builds a car for the President of Russia, announced that it is expected to put into production a new SUV model in 2022, called "Koendant".
The brand has a sedan, the Senat, and Koendant will continue the design language of the car. Specifically, the front face of the Koendant is equipped with a quadrilateral intake grille, which adopts a straight waterfall type mesh shape in the grille, with rectangular headlight groups on both sides, making the entire front face of the car look similar to Rolls-Royce Curry South Pole.
From the side, the Koendant is obviously a large SUV, the overall silhouette is more square, the tough waist line extends from the front fender to the rear, with a full hard temperament. The official did not disclose the size data of the new car, but as the brand's flagship SUV model, the length is expected to exceed 5500mm, and the wheelbase may be consistent with senat at 3300mm.
Uncle Che currently knows very little about Koendant, and the official has not released information on its power. For reference, the Senat is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from BMW, and the drivetrain matches a 9-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel drive system, with a maximum output of 440 kW and a peak torque of 880 N·m.

Aurus currently has only two models, namely the sedan Senat and the MPV model Arsenal, and when the SUV model Komendant is launched, the brand will achieve a full-field layout. However, this brand almost only provides cars for the top level of the Russian government, even if the rich want to buy a large fee, and Russian civilians seem to be more interested in China's Haval, Chery and other brands.
