Brother Jian Zhou stepped into society from "engaging in side business", and it is not an exaggeration to call him a "migrant worker". At that time, as soon as he graduated from high school, he carried a roll on his back to the construction site, first doing small work, then taking over the project, then running a company, building a factory, running around for decades, and it seemed that he did not make any money, but when the mountains and rivers were exhausted, the muse opened a door, and his literary creation was harvested.
Could it be that he really responded to Ouyang Xiu's words, "Literature is poor and then work"?
As far as my limited knowledge is concerned, in the Anyang literary circle, there are those who write prose and novels, and it is rare that they can write characters like Wang Jianzhou. The blind man who could not pull strings, could not sing a big drum, could not calculate the gua, and could only imitate the Linxian dialect to "predict the weather" to make a living, "Lao He" ("Lao He"), in his twilight years, was still carrying a blind cane and carrying washing powder along the street to sell, and as a result, he fell into the canal and almost died. The bleak evening view is lamentable. The wayward and free "Three Masters" ("Three Masters and Four Records"), who like martial arts, love to sing, like to read in the pile of women, and hope to spend the weekend like the people in the city, which leaves people with endless sighs. The old man in her eighties who longed to go home for the New Year ("I Want to Go Home for the New Year"), her sons kicked the ball and pushed to pick her up, but she still held an optimistic imagination. Pathetic and pathetic. The scene where the fountain pen in his pocket is full of confidence and dares to fight with the "regular army" ("Mr. Hou"), organizes the workers to line up to the military theater to watch a movie, and insists on entering from the main entrance, is even more amusing... These characters are so vivid, natural, and prominent, showing us one world after another of the emotional world of secular people.
The author recalls the past, remembers the past, looks like landscapes, lyrical nostalgia, pen and ink, everywhere permeates a strong light of human nature, that is, kindness. "Goodness comes naturally from within, not with a heart for good" ("Goodness is a Reward for Filial Piety"), and many of his characters are manifestations of this kind of goodness from the bottom of the heart. The army that talks wildly and thinks that "one person eats enough to ignore his mother" will actually remember "the debt that my father confessed in those years" ("Repaying debts"),the "Dunhuang Big Sister" ("Dunhuang Big Sister") who borrowed money to his son for his birthday and was dismissed, the taxi driver Zhang Big Brother ("Big Brother Zhang's Road"), who turned five or six times and finally returned the handbag to the lost owner, the little girl who looked like a student who made up tickets for the penniless migrant workers ("On the 332 Bus"),, There is also the retired worker Wang Yanshun ("Kindness is the Return of Filial Piety"), who regards helping others as a matter of course, and so on, these obscure little people living at the bottom of society have the most sincere and precious good qualities hidden in them, and they are also the "capital people" ("The Man with the Pen") that the author intends to express.
The successful portrayal of the image and the profound expression of feelings come from skillful language skills, which are mainly reflected in the author's description of the scene of people and things. In "Colorful Dreams", the author writes about the poor years, Jianshui, who was in the third grade of primary school, wanted to sell balloons with the blind third uncle to make money, because he was ashamed to drink, and as a result, none of them were sold, so the two had a conversation:
"You! It's not this poverty. Study hard, grow up to be a scientist, and contribute to the four modernizations! "The third uncle said the same thing as the teacher's words. Jianshui knew that he was comforting him, but it always sounded like he was sarcastic!
"Uncle Three, why am I so stupid?"
"It's not stupid, it's called thin-skinned. Unlike your third uncle, a blind man can't see people, and he is not afraid of losing people! What are you learning this for? See how hard it is? How bitter! Study well, only by studying can there be a way out, and only then can there be a way out. ”

"What are you kid talking about!" In the eyes of the blind man, it is always black. ”
In order to earn money, children want to be blind; but blind people want the color in their eyes. In the dialogue, the inferiority and innocence of children, the persuasion and admonition of the blind uncle, make people laugh, make people cry, laugh with sorrow, and tears with pain. Vivid language descriptions truly reproduce the helplessness and bitterness of the poor people in that poor era.
In "Pouring Pot", the women in the village want to pour a light aluminum pot to realize their dreams, and the author describes the scene where they collect old wires, cans, and broken aluminum blocks everywhere:
At first, I walked the streets and alleys in the village, with walls and roots, garbage heaps, and later expanded to the four fields on the edge of the village, and finally spread to neighboring villages. Sometimes two people find an old wire at the same time and argue, sometimes two people find two wires buried in the soil, drag it out and find that it is still the same one, and then have to break it.
Here, actions such as "walking the streets and alleys", "turning over", "arguing", "dragging", "stopping and breaking the waist" vividly depict the urgent mood of the women. There are descriptions in the narrative, there are narratives in the descriptions, typical white drawings, very expressive.
There is also "Checkered Shirt", writing "I" got a favorite checkered shirt and wanted to try it on by the quiet and deserted Shahegou Creek. On the road, everything around is so beautiful:
The sky was clear blue that day, and there were a few cotton clouds floating overhead. In the wheat fields on both sides of the country road, wheat seedlings are pumping, and in the green ocean, goose-yellow rape flowers are dancing with the wind. In this world of green and yellow there are also wisps of red flowers, green, yellow, and red, just like the color of the color stripes on my new shirt. At this time, the bees are busy among the flower buds, the butterflies are dancing in front of my eyes, and I am not in the mood to enjoy the scenery in front of me. I just wanted to see myself in a checkered shirt on the surface of the water.
The blue sky, the fluttering white clouds, the green wheat fields, the goose yellow rape flowers, and the bees that are busy among the flower buds, the butterflies that dance, colorful and lively, can be described as all the scenery is love words. But such a wonderful environment, compared with my own happy mood, is really nothing, "I am not in the mood to appreciate the beauty in front of me", but wading across the river, humming songs, taking the bright "cannon flower" in my mouth, imagining "the self in the water wearing a checkered shirt". This description adopts the method of contrast, the method of contrast, borrowing scenery to write people, borrowing objects to metaphor people, there are actions, there is psychology, the writing is full of interest, swaying and vivid. The characters can't help but feel happy, and according to the unstoppable expectations, they are vividly expressed.
Whether in prose or fiction, authors like to adopt participatory first-person narratives, telling stories as if they were witnesses, as if they were talking or seeing others. For example, in "Mr. Hou", it is written that Lao Hou led the workers to enter the movie theater in a queue:
Comrades, what kind of a contingent is this? If you remove the one-meter-four Junsheng, remove the Baosheng of the outer figure eight, remove the Naluo circle leg Su Haizhong, and then remove the old migrant workers over sixty years old, cut the chicken nest-like hair into a plate inch, and change into a unified costume, it will really be like an army! I blushed and didn't dare to go to the movies. It is said that Mr. Hou led the team to the front of the auditorium and stood by in place. After waiting for the soldiers of the first, second and third battalions to enter, Mr. Hou trotted away and saluted the report in front of the chief on duty... Deputy Commander Yang blushed and finally didn't laugh out loud!
The narrator introduces the messiness of the migrant worker team, adopts the "exclusion method", clearly praises and depreciates, not only writes about the different forms of the migrant worker team's untidy clothes, but also writes about the solemnity and seriousness of their unwillingness to fall into the world and desire respect. The scene is witty and humorous.
Another example is the scene in "Three Masters and Four Memories" that writes that the third master sings at the beginning of half a push and half and then a shot and cannot be received:
If the third master does not sing, he will not end up as long as he opens his voice and does not sing until "the road is broken and sparsely populated". Once, the three masters and I sat under a plane tree to cool off. I said, come on a song called "The Second Home of the Warrior." The Third Master smiled, revealing the row of yellow teeth and shaking his head. I say just one. The Third Master still smiled and shook his head. I said you review it again, don't be weird. The Third Master said, how can it be strange and slippery! Don't believe you listen—" Listen to the song, "The Warrior's Second Home!" "The third master himself reported behind the scenes, made a long story, the songs one after another, gushing endlessly, only singing that I came back from the Western Heavens in my dreams, and the third master was still singing. I said Third Master, I will find you a mouthful of water to drink, and Third Master said don't make trouble, don't be thirsty, and finish reciting "On Protracted War" will end.
The real thing is "no sound, a blockbuster". Originally, it was just to tease the Third Master, but who knew that he was so serious that he couldn't stand it. His self-reported demeanor, the "gushing" singing, was expressed through "only singing that I came back from the Western Heavens in my dreams, and the Third Master was still singing" was expressed.
The success of the author's creation is also reflected in the ingenious conception of the work. For example, "The Mine Chief's Distress", writing about the huge impact of the changes in the young miners' clothing in the hearts of the conservative mine chiefs, reflects the changes in people's lives and psychology in the reform and opening up era through specific life details. "Old House" records the bittersweet and bittersweet of the family, witnessing their own growth, there are joys, there are hardships, and the tone of ridicule reveals the hardships of life and the attachment to the homeland. "Into Zhejiang Water" writes about the changes in a small mountain village, reflecting the progress of the concept of mountain people and the changes of the times. The article "Dunhuang Sanji" writes about the scriptures in the caves, the camels in the desert, the customs introduced by the yellow noodles of donkey meat, pig's hooves, and mutton powder soup, as well as the slow life of the Henan and Dunhuang people in Dunhuang City, etc. Talking about the past and the present, and going through the distance, outlining a vast and magnificent cultural scroll. There are also like "Art Realm Taihang", "Snow in the Hometown", "Rain and Sunny Building", etc., seemingly idle and casual, careless, but in fact, it is like a cloud flowing water, homeopathy, there is a wonderful taste in the random, after the winding path to see the cave sky, it can be described as a big coincidence, willow dark flowers, which shows the author's ingenious artistic pursuit.
The collection of essays includes essays, novels, reviews, and essays, and there is no shortage of masterpieces in each genre, which is really valuable. The reason for this is first attributed to the author's sensitive and thoughtful life experience. He once said, "A man who eats the head of the nest cannot write the Lion's Head." Liang Shiqiu can write a good article, thanks to the fact that he was born in a 'Bell Ming Ding Food' family, and we can't write a good food article with an excuse, we are the children of poor and lower middle peasants. Although he could not write about the "lion's head" in the eyes of the rich, he wrote about the dumplings in the eyes of poor children, the white-faced buns with "one arm long" in the eyes of migrant workers, and the world in the eyes of the downcasts, and the kindness in the hearts of passers-by. Only by experiencing ups and downs, failures and pains, sweating, tears, despair and expectation, sorrow and bitterness, can we have such memories of life that are unforgettable at this moment. Most of what he writes is his own personal experience or hearing and witnessing, emotion is in the middle and the form is in words, and the arrow has to be sent on the string, so it is real, perceptible, and full of earthy breath.
In addition, the work can impress the reader because the author has a compassionate heart to help the weak and the poor. He comes from the bottom, comes from a poor background, has suffered hardships, has been bruised, can deeply appreciate the difficulties of small people, can understand the difficulties they suffer, which is also an important reason why his works have a deep grounding. He once said: "Literature refers to the art of using language and writing as a tool to visually reflect objective reality and express the writer's spiritual world!" ("The Man with the Pen") This passage can be regarded as the author's view of creation. Of course, a writer who matures and can turn life into art needs to have a deep literary literacy in addition to the above. In this regard, he also has his own ideas: "Do not make up the story, do not pile up the text." No flowery rhetoric, plain and bland, real, eloquent. ("Reading "Pumpkin Flower" has a feeling"), this artistic pursuit may be the secret of his writing to success.
I don't know when Jian Zhou's creation began, and seeing his works is only a matter of recent years. After reading this manuscript, I had an unexpected surprise: in today's seemingly calm or even silent literary world, it is a blessing in this land that there are such authors who have worked hard and achieved extraordinary results. In the future creation, I hope that he can do more research on the structure and application of the work, and I believe that there will be a more outstanding performance.
