On December 31, the first annual ceremony of Foshan Literature List was held. The event released the Foshan Literature List - novels, essays, poetry (including lyrics), reportage, literary criticism, and the six lists of literary newcomers of the year, and launched the "Foshan Literature and Art Bookstore" online mini program to better promote the excellent works of Foshan writers and artists.

Based on Foshan Literature and Art magazine, the Foshan Literature List is created around the creation, release, appreciation and reading of local literary works in Foshan, aiming to prosper Foshan literature and expand the popularity and influence of Foshan literature in the national literary circles.
It is understood that Foshan Literature and Art is a literary journal founded for 50 years, which has been popular throughout the country for a long time, and has been rated as "National Top 100 Key Periodicals" and won the Guangdong Provincial Excellent Periodical Award for five consecutive years.
The Foshan Literature List is the first selection in Foshan, and there are six main lists, namely "Novel List", "Prose List", "Poetry (Including Lyrics) List", "Reportage List", "Literary Criticism List" and "Literary Newcomer of the Year". Since the announcement was released in June 2020, the Foshan Literature List has received a warm response from writers and readers in Foshan and even across the country, and 98 works have been received, including 15 novels, 38 poems, 34 essays, 6 reportage literature, and 5 literary reviews.
In early September this year, the editorial department of Foshan Literature and Art invited 5 experts to conduct the final selection, and selected 1 best and 2 excellent in the five categories of novels, essays, poetry (including lyrics), reportage literature and literary criticism, and selected 1 literary newcomer of the year.
"When I was very young, I heard my father read a poem on stage, and I planted a seed in my heart. Later, a few students studied poetry with their fathers, and I 'competed' with them, and I found more and more fun in writing poetry. Gao Zhenting, 14 years old this year, was named "Literary Newcomer of the Year" for "Door Cracks" (group poems).
The ceremony was hosted by Foshan Periodicals Publishing House and hosted by Foshan Literature and Art. The event also launched the "Foshan Literature and Art Book Garden" online mini program to create an online library, exhibition hall and book sales base for Foshan artists.
