In 1932, in Sihebao Village, Hailong County, Jilin Province, Tun Xiaoxigou (now Liu DaCun, Sibashi Township, Meihekou City, Tonghua City) was an area where underground parties and anti-Japanese armed forces were regularly active.
In August, the village's landlord Zhenkui was preparing to marry a concubine. Zhang Zhenkui was a famous landlord in these ten miles and eight townships at that time, so this wedding was quite lively, during the day, the drummers, blowing and playing, the drum music did not stop, and at night, Mr. Storyteller and the singer turned and attracted the whole tun li to the Zhang family wedding banquet scene. Zhang Zhenkui saw his wedding and was quite proud of the liveliness.
On August 6, a secret agent suddenly ran to the Japanese garrison in the mountain town to inform him, saying that the bearded leader "Haijiao" was stationed in Xiaoxigou and would personally attend Zhang Zhenkui's wedding. After receiving this information, more than 50 japanese garrisons set off overnight and camped 15 miles away from Xiaoxigou that night. After resting, the next day, just after dawn, he went straight to Xiaoxigou.
August 7 is the right day to welcome relatives, and on that day, the Zhang family compound was full of gift-giving crowds. Because of Zhang Zhenkui's rich side, even the soldiers of the pseudo-Manchurian detachment came to Say Hello with guns on their backs. With the steward's "opening table", the guy who passed the dish shuttled through it, and the guests pushed the cups and changed cups, and the food was very happy.
Suddenly, the guy who passed the dish, with a bang, fell in the middle of the wedding feast. Immediately after that, there was a dense burst of gunfire, and at the same time, there were shells that fell directly into the courtyard and exploded. With the sound of gunfire, many people attending the wedding banquet in the Zhangjia compound fell in a pool of blood.
Suddenly someone outside the door shouted, "No, the devil is coming!" At this time, the people who were frightened by the sudden attack eased up, panicked and rushed out of the door, fleeing in all directions. It turned out that the Japanese soldiers used grenadiers to aim at the Zhangjia compound and lash out.
With the continuous explosions in the Zhangjia compound, a 12-year-old girl was blown up and the body could not be found. The daughter-in-law of boss Hu's family who drove the car and ran out of the compound with her child in her arms was blown up and died on the edge of the millstone in the Zhang family compound.
The Japanese soldiers who entered the village stood on the hillside, holding up rifles and aiming at the fleeing people. The fleeing civilians were used as targets by the Japanese army, and some people fell down with the continuous sound of gunfire. Especially those who fled along the ravine, because of the large number of people, the small space, but also fell under the dense bullets of the Japanese army, dozens of people were killed under the bridge by the small river alone.

As the gunfire stopped, the Japanese officer gave an order, and all the soldiers came down the hillside with bayonets and headed straight for the Zhang family compound. At that time, there were still many people in the Zhangjia compound who could not escape in time, they hid under the firewood piles, warehouses and fires in the courtyard, but they could not escape the disaster of killing.
When the Japanese found these civilians, they directly stabbed them with bayonets. The last remaining people in the Zhangjia compound were driven to the open space outside the courtyard, and the Japanese army asked them to take off their shirts, kneel on the ground, and then ask them one by one who was bearded? Zhang Qingshan, the treasurer of the Murakami Paper Mill, still has a lot of prestige in the village on weekdays, so he took the initiative to tell the Japanese army that there was no beard, and he did not know where the beard was. As a result, the Japanese directly beat him to death with the butt of his gun.
In this massacre, the Japanese army killed a total of 128 innocent civilians in Xiaoxigou. After the Japanese army retreated, the cries and shouts in the whole village were heart-rending, the corpses of the people who had been slaughtered by the Japanese army were everywhere, and the originally peaceful mountain village became a hell. It took the villagers in Xiaoxigou three days to bury all the victims.
