During the Republic of China period, due to the perennial warlord melee, the warlord leaders generally cared very much about their own concubine troops and regarded them as the capital for saving their lives. What's more, after the start of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he was still reluctant to let his concubine troops suffer casualties and passively avoided battle, and Han Fuyu was a typical example.
Han Fuyu (1891-1938), also spelled Xiangfang, was a native of Dongtaishan Village, Baxian (present-day Bazhou).
On the eve of the Central Plains War, less than a few months after Han Fuyu surrendered to Chiang Kai-shek, Han found that the financial support that Chiang had originally promised was almost a blank piece of paper, and Han had a premeditated plan against Chiang. During the Xi'an Incident, Han Fuqu telegraphed zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng to force Jiang to resist Japan. When the Japanese army advanced to Shandong, Han Fuyu faced the aggressive approach of the Japanese army, in order to retain the strength of his own troops, almost without a fight, took the initiative to abandon the natural danger of the Yellow River Taishan, and within a few days abandoned the Yellow River defense line that was expected to be defended for several weeks.

Han Fuqu
On January 11, 1938, Chiang Kai-shek held a confidential military conference of senior generals in the Henan Provincial Government, and informed in advance that in order to avoid disturbance by Japanese aircraft, the meeting was held at night, which was actually done to arrest Han Fuqu.
At the meeting, Chiang Kai-shek personally presided over the meeting, and he said: "Our resistance to Japan is unanimous throughout the country, and the heavy responsibility of Chiang Kai-shek and Han Fuyu should be said to be the unshirkable responsibility of each of our generals, but there is a high-ranking general who abandons the dangerous position of the Yellow River in Shandong, disobeys orders, and loses several major cities in succession, so that the Japanese Kou can smoothly enter Shandong, and the impact is enormous, and then abandon Jinan, Tai'an, and shake the rear. ”

Hearing this, Han Fuyu actually had no sense of guilt and directly went up to the top and said: "The loss of Shandong is my responsibility, and who is responsible for the loss of Nanjing?" Before Han could finish speaking, Chiang Kai-shek intercepted Han's words in a loud voice and said, "Now I am asking about Shandong, not Nanjing; Nanjing is lost, and someone is responsible." Han Zheng wanted to open his mouth to retort, and Liu Zhi, who was sitting next to Han Fuqu, took Han's hand and said, "XiangFang, when the commission is on fire, you should first come to my office to rest!" So he dragged Han out of the side door of the conference hall.
But how could Han Fuqu think that Liu Zhi was also Chiang Kai-shek's helper, Liu Zhi took Han's hand and walked to the courtyard and came to a small car that had been prepared earlier, Liu Zhi said: "Sit on, this is my car!" When Han Fuqu got into the car, Liu Zhi said, "I still have to go to the meeting." At this time, two people in the front seat of the car climbed into the back compartment, sat on either side of Han' side, and showed the pre-written arrest warrant, and said to Han: "You have been arrested." A generation of warlords Han Fuqu was arrested.
On January 19, 1938, the Kuomintang formed a high military law trial, with He Yingqin as the chief judge, Lu Zhonglin and He Cheng as the chief judge, and Jia Huanchen as the military judge. However, during the interrogation, Han only smiled with his head held high, did not reply a word, and did not ask for forgiveness.
On the evening of the 24th, the military command decided to order the killer, sent a secret agent to han's front and said: "Chief Judge He asked you to talk, just follow me!" Han thought it was really He Yingqin who was talking to him, so he went downstairs. Halfway up the stairs, I saw that the yard was full of sentries with guns waiting to be released, and then he said, "The shoes on my feet are a little crowded, I'll go back and change my shoes and go again." As he spoke, he turned back, and just as he turned back to his feet upstairs, the agent standing by the staircase shot Han from behind, and Han turned around and said, "Hit me..." At this time, the continuous guns had knocked him down. He was shot twice in the head and five times on his body, killing him seven times in total.
After Han Fuyu was shot, he sounded the alarm bell for the warlords of the Kuomintang army: those who passively avoid war in order to preserve the power of the concubines will be punished as they deserve! After this, the original local warlords only slightly hid some contradictions against Chiang Kai-shek, and the warlords no longer had the ability and opportunity to defeat the old Chiang faction.
