When Huang Chao was a child, his family was very rich, and he was young and talented, it is said that he could write poetry with adults at the age of 5, but after he grew up, Huang Chao went to participate in the imperial examination many times, and none of them were selected, so there was his famous song "No First Fu Ju", I killed a hundred flowers after the blossom, full of murderous spirits, and frightening.
After repeatedly falling behind, Huang Chao returned to his hometown to become the second generation of the rich, inheriting the family property and becoming the leader of the local salt gang. In 874, after successive natural disasters and starvation of the people, Wang Xianzhi and The Monk Junchang, who were also salt dealers, revolted and quickly became a powerful and world-shaking team, and a year later, Huang Chao, who was not born to be anthem, responded to Wang Xianzhi and rose up. The two men fought side by side for a time, but eventually parted ways because of various contradictions, and in 878, Wang Xianzhi was killed in a breakthrough battle, and one of his remnants defected to Huangchao to continue to fight against the Tang Dynasty.
Huang Chao led the rebel army alone, during which there were many ups and downs, there were defeats, and there were also rebellions, he captured Luoyang in 880 AD, and a few months later he fought Chang'an to ascend the throne as emperor, and after experiencing such glory, Huang Chao also quickly went downhill. In 884, huangchao, who had already passed away, was killed by his nephew, and the vigorous peasant revolt was almost over.
Huang Chao's life can be described as vigorous, he led the army to revolt, using the tactics of mobile combat, in 12 provinces to fight, four crossings of the Yangtze River, two crossings of the Yellow River, the route of activity up to 15,000 miles, and the Tang Dynasty was unable to hang it, he exerted influence everywhere, bringing a fatal blow to the Tang Dynasty.
