In fact, Huang Chao was originally a rich second generation, after the examination of the middle of the Yuan, he was disliked by the emperor because of his ugly appearance, and he simply followed Wang Xianzhi's uprising, once established himself as a king, and lived an addiction to being an emperor, but in the end it ended in failure.

As for how ugly he looked, it is said that his father could not accept his appearance and abandoned him, if he was an ordinary child, his life would end here, but Huang Chao was not an ordinary person.

As a "rich second generation", Huang Chao did not live a life as clumsy as others, he had his own ambitions. The wuju system that began in the Wu Zetian period had developed perfectly by the time of Huang Chao, so he decided to take the wu zhuangyuan examination to serve the country. In the end, Wu Zhuangyuan was admitted, but after Tang Shuzong saw his appearance, he felt that he was not worthy of being a champion, so he directly denied his achievements and removed his title of champion.
Disheartened, Huang Chao decided to leave Chang'an, and before leaving, he wrote a poem in which the phrase "the city is full of golden armor" is still popular. After leaving the sad place, it happened to be a natural disaster, the people were not happy, and there were people everywhere who rose up, so he joined Wang Xianzhi's rebel army, attacking the city and breaking the pool all the way to Chang'an. Frightened, Emperor Xuanzong fled with his concubines, and Huang Chao established a high prestige in the army.
After entering Chang'an City, he also told the people that he came from the people, understood their sufferings, and would treat them well, and then ascended the throne as emperor. However, it was not long before the Great Qi established by Huang Chao was defeated by famous generals such as Li Keyong of the Tang Dynasty, and he himself died on the battlefield, ending his short career as emperor.
