The report shows that in 2020, the average overweight obesity rate of male students in Beijing was 44.46%, an increase of 9.68% over 2019; the average overweight obesity rate of female students in the city was 24.11%, an increase of 5.01% over 2019, suggesting that adolescent health education should be further strengthened and health guidance and management should be strengthened.

The report analysis believes that before the age of 50, the detection rate of dyslipidemia gradually increases with age, which may be related to factors such as high-fat diet, work pressure, lack of exercise and irregular life; before the age of 60, the detection rate of dyslipidemia gradually increases with age, but the detection rate is lower than that of men, and the detection rate after the age of 60 is higher than that of men, which is considered to be related to the decrease in female estrogen levels.

The report pointed out that with the change of people's lifestyle, the detection rate of dyslipidemia, overweight, obesity, hypertension, and fatty liver has remained high, and these metabolic abnormalities will lead to arteriosclerosis, angina, myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, etc. to a certain extent over time, which is a risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular system diseases. For personal health and family happiness, experts recommend developing good health habits, establishing a healthy lifestyle, and improving self-care.

The report, jointly compiled by the Beijing Municipal Physical Examination Center, the Beijing Municipal Center for Quality Control and Improvement of Physical Examinations, the School of Public Health of Capital Medical University and the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, covers the physical examination data of 620,000 special physical examinations and 3.53 million health examinations in Beijing in 2020, and provides a statistical analysis of the detection of physical examination project indicators.
