In 2022, the annual quota of Beijing passenger car indicators will be 100,000, of which new energy vehicles will increase to 70,000

On December 29, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned from the Beijing Passenger Car Indicator Office that the annual quota for passenger car indicators in Beijing in 2022 is 100,000, and according to relevant regulations, Beijing will reduce the ordinary indicator quota from 40,000 in 2021 to 30,000 in 2022, and simultaneously increase the new energy index quota from 60,000 to 70,000.

In addition to the unit indicators, in terms of ordinary passenger car indicators, the total number of household and personal indicators is 28,600, and the number of household and individual indicators is the same pool; in terms of new energy indicators, the total number of household and personal indicators is 63,600.

According to the Beijing Municipal Passenger Car Indicators Office, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Interim Regulations on the Regulation and Control of the Number of Passenger Cars in Beijing (Municipal Government Order No. 296) and the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Interim Provisions on the Regulation and Control of the Number of Passenger Cars in Beijing (revised in 2020), after the municipal transportation administrative department in conjunction with the municipal development and reform, public security organ traffic management, ecological environment and other relevant administrative departments to study, and report to the Municipal People's Government for approval, the following notice is hereby issued on the relevant matters such as the quota and allocation ratio of the passenger car indicators in Beijing in 2022:

First, the annual quota for passenger car indicators in 2022 is 100,000. In accordance with the requirements of the State Council's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Carbon Peak Action Plan by 2030", the "Beijing Municipal Eco-environmental Protection Plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan Period" on the deployment of promoting the application of new energy vehicles, and the "Beijing Municipal 2021 New Energy Vehicle Promotion and Application Work Plan" in "For 2022, study and increase the proportion of new energy vehicles in the indicators of new passenger cars", in order to control the exhaust pollution of fuel vehicles and improve the air quality of the capital, consider the rapid progress of new energy vehicle batteries and other technologies. The actual situation of mileage growth will reduce the ordinary index quota from 40,000 in 2021 to 30,000 in 2022, and increase the new energy index quota from 60,000 to 70,000 at the same time.

Second, the proportion of passenger car indicators in 2022 is as follows:

1. Ordinary passenger car indicators. There are a total of 28,600 household and personal indicators, and the number of household and individual indicators is the same pool; the unit index quota is 1,200; and the operating passenger car index quota is 200.

2. New energy passenger car indicators. There are a total of 63,600 household and personal indicators, of which 44,520 are household indicators, accounting for 70%, personal indicators are 19,080, accounting for 30%, unit indicators are 3,600, and 2,800 are operating indicators.
