Today, the "Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Food Culture" was opened to the public in The North 11 Hall of the National Museum. People often say that "the people take food as the sky", and the more than 200 pieces (sets) of exhibits in this exhibition are close to the people, which is an exhibition full of fireworks in the world.

The exhibition is divided into five units: "Eating from The Eight Directions", "Tea Rhyme and Wine Aroma", "Beautiful Utensils", "Change in Dingzhong" and "Ritual Diet", exhibiting more than 200 selected cultural relics (sets), starting from different angles such as ingredients, utensils, techniques, etiquette, etc., comprehensively presenting the historical changes of ancient Chinese food culture, truly portraying the daily life of ancient working people full of fireworks, and profoundly expressing the Chinese nation's vision of a better life with abundant food and clothing. The number of cultural relics and the amount of information they carry are large, including rice, snacks and other food objects, as well as tableware boxes, notes and other eating utensils, as well as dyeing utensils and hot pots that reveal cooking and processing techniques, as well as bronze ceremonial vessels that reflect eating etiquette, tableware, and ancient books and documents that record food culture.

It is worth mentioning that this exhibition has a number of interactive projects, through the good-looking, fun, experiential, hands-on content and exhibition form, to narrow the distance between the museum and the public, and guide the audience to perceive the Chinese nation through the ancient and modern life interests.

This exhibition will also use the Internet new media to display some of the wonderful contents of the exhibition online through the "central kitchen" media matrix of the National Expo and the various channels of cooperative media and support units. The majority of the audience can stay at home to watch the exhibition online, or they can interact through Weibo WeChat and watch the live broadcast of the exhibition to jointly "taste the world".
