It turned out that after Chen Cheng took over the party, government, and military power in the northeast of the Kuomintang, he ordered Zhao Wei, as the designer of the defense plan, to report to Chiang Kai-shek in person in Beiping.
When Zhao Wei arrived at the airport in Jinzhou, he learned that Chiang Kai-shek was going to visit Shenyang on the same day, and he went to Beiping for a free run.
However, on the grounds that "it is the duty of a soldier to obey orders", he still asked the Air Force to send him a special plane to send him to Beiping. Zhao Wei naturally went to Beiping to contact the organization and convey the latest intelligence.
However, he unexpectedly learned that two important radio stations on our side had been cracked by the enemy, and more than a dozen comrades had been arrested, including Yu Xinqing, Zhu Jianguo, and other bigwigs.
