As the world's first 5G mobile phone brand in the past, Huawei's fall will inevitably release a large number of markets. So, who stole huawei's share of 5G phones?
In fact, in the data given by Strategy Analytics, it can be seen that "Huawei fell, Apple was full" is not unreasonable.
The data shows that in the third quarter of this year, Apple ranked first in the global 5G smartphone market with a market share of 25%.
The world's 5G mobile phone market sales of the first manufacturer from Huawei to Apple, it is not difficult to see that Apple is the biggest beneficiary of Huawei's 5G mobile phone business after the setback.
It should be noted that Apple is the last brand among mainstream mobile phone manufacturers to enter the 5G mobile phone market, releasing the first 5G iPhone in the second half of 2020. So, how did Apple catch up in the global 5G mobile phone market?
In my opinion, there are two main reasons:
On the one hand, Huawei fell, giving Apple an opportunity to take advantage of it;
On the other hand, the 5G iPhone is indeed attractive.
After Huawei fell, it released a large amount of market share, because the high-end image of other domestic mobile phone brands has not yet been successfully shaped, and many pollen turned into apple arms after being unable to buy Huawei's 5G mobile phones.
Although Apple has only released two 5G mobile phones in the iPhone12 and iPhone13 series so far, each mobile phone has full attraction.
In particular, apple just released the iPhone 13 series in mid-September this year, on the basis of the iPhone 12 upgraded again, but the price in overseas markets remained unchanged, and the price of the National Bank version was even lower than the iPhone 12, which made many consumers excited about this phone.
Although the iPhone12 is a 5G mobile phone released last year, but until now its hardware configuration can still play, the performance of the machine in a number of Android flagships can still do "second kill", coupled with the advantages of the iOS system, as well as third-party merchants to reduce its price, there are still many consumers on the iPhone12 flock.
Considering that the two peak consumption periods of Christmas and Spring Festival are coming, this will further promote the hot sales of 5G iPhones. Although the outside world believes that Samsung will gradually narrow the gap with Apple, it is certain that for a long time, the iPhone will be the world's best-selling 5G phone.
In fact, in addition to Apple, there is also a part of Huawei's 5G mobile phone market share to Xiaomi, Honor and other domestic mobile phone manufacturers.
In the data released by Strategy Analytics, Xiaomi is the second largest manufacturer after Apple, and 5G mobile phone sales rank second in the world.
Although Ken Hyers, director of Strategy Analytics, said that Xiaomi's growth rate slowed down in the third quarter, it is undeniable that Xiaomi seized the dividend window period of Huawei's exit and won a lot of European market share.
As for Honor, it is the fastest growing Android 5G smartphone brand in the third quarter of this year. After leaving Huawei, the share of Honor mobile phones in the domestic market was once as low as 3%, and now the market share of Honor 5G mobile phones ranks sixth in the world, in large part because it has recovered some of Huawei's lost ground.
