Shi Xiaowu, deputy chief physician of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care of Wuhan Central Hospital, introduced that the duck neck bone is a pentahedra, and then four sides are stuck in the trachea. There are large blood vessels behind three sides, including the main superior lung artery, the thoracic aorta and a small artery, which are 2 mm, 3 mm, and 3.5 mm apart, respectively.
If during the operation, the doctor forcefully removes the bone foreign body, it will pull off the surrounding blood vessels, resulting in heavy bleeding, causing life-threatening.
As time passed, the bone became more and more restless in Mr. Zhang's lungs. Due to its influence, Mr. Zhang has two or three pneumonias every year, cough, hemoptysis are also frequent, and even breathing is becoming more and more difficult. In desperation, he came to the hospital again. This time, thanks to advances in medical technology, experts are already confident.
The doctor then uses a laser to cut the part of the duck's neck bone stuck on the tracheal wall, so that the bone is completely separated from the lung tissue, and then smoothly removed. When it was removed, the doctor really saw this duck neck bone that was 2 cm long and 1 cm wide. After the culprit that had plagued Mr. Zhang for 20 years was removed, his physical condition also improved significantly.
Experts remind that now that it is close to the end of the year, friends and relatives are about to launch the "dinner mode".
