3. Hoarseness: Compared with other symptoms of lung cancer, hoarseness can be said to be one of the most specific manifestations.
According to relevant statistics, nearly 20 to 30% of lung cancer patients may have hoarseness symptoms at different stages of the disease, of which central lung cancer patients are the most common.
The reason why lung cancer is combined with hoarseness is that the tumor invades and compresses the nerve that innervates the vocal cords.
After a patient develops hoarseness, the disease tends to progress rapidly, or even completely lose its voice. At the same time, most patients are accompanied by chest tightness, shortness of breath, chest pain and other symptoms, and there is no relief after medication;
4. Fever: Patients with fever as the first symptom account for about 30% of all patients.
The causes of fever caused by lung cancer are quite complex, the first is that the patient's condition develops with inflammation, such as obstructive pneumonia, atelectasis, etc., which then causes fever symptoms to appear, and the patient's body temperature is maintained at about 38 ° C, although taking antibiotics may alleviate, but it often occurs repeatedly.
The second type is cancerous fever caused by lung cancer, which has no effect even if it is treated with antibiotic drugs.
